Jordanian Islamic scholar Said Radwan said in a March 17, 2022 interview on the Hizb ut-Tahrir-affiliated Al-Waqiya TV (Lebanon) that any country that was ruled by Islamic law in the past is in fact Islamic land and that it should be returned to Islamic rule and the enemy that attacked these countries must be driven out. He said that this pertains to places such as Al-Andalus (Spain), Crimea, East Turkestan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, and elsewhere just as it pertains to Palestine.

Said Radwan: "Every country that was ruled by Islam [in the past], and where the shari'a was implemented is an Islamic country."

"When such a country is attacked by an infidel country like Britain, France, or any other country - what is the ruling of the shari'a? There is a consensus among Muslim jurisprudents that it is obligatory for Muslims to defend that country and repel the attacking enemy."

In reality, aversion to Islam is not new or something that “just happened”; nor is it a byproduct of temporal circumstances (say, resentment towards Muslims due to the terror strikes of 9/11, etc.).  Instead, it is something that all rational non-Muslims have felt from the very inception of Islam in the seventh century.

Western peoples, for instance, including many of their luminaries, have always portrayed Islam as a hostile and violent force—often in terms that would make today’s “Islamophobe” blush.  And that wasn’t because Europeans were “recasting the other” to “validate their imperial aspirations” (to use the tired terminology of Edward Said that has long dominated academia’s treatment of Western-Muslim interactions).  Rather, it was because Islam has always treated the “infidel,” the non-Muslim, the same way ISIS treats the infidel: atrociously.

Cologne Cathedral, known as the "German Rome", is the landmark of the city and has been declared a World Heritage Site since 1996. It is one of the most visited places in Germany and one of the most important in Christianity (it was visited by Popes John Paul II and Benedict XVI). The first stone of the cathedral was laid in 1248. On old black and white photos you can see how the towers of the cathedral protrude from the rubble of the historic center completely destroyed during the Second World War.

Now the city of Cologne is deleting the iconic cathedral from its new logo. “My 92-year-old mother is stunned, my 11-year-old son is crying and my friend in London doesn't understand it,” writes sculptor and painter Cornel Wachter.

Die Welt explains that even the head of the Jewish community, Abraham Lehrer, also spoke out in favor of keeping the spires in the city logo. And the president of the German-Hungarian Society, Gerhard Papke, commented on Twitter: "Cologne's choice to remove the cathedral from the city logo is not surprising, since recently mosques have been expressly authorized to call the muezzin." Papke refers to the decision by the mayor of Cologne last October to allow the "call to prayer" in the city. from its 50 mosques.

Palestinian terror groups celebrated an apparent terror attack in Tel Aviv on Thursday night, but none of them took responsibility for the shooting spree that left two dead and others fighting for their lives.

The Hamas terror group called the attack a “heroic operation” and vowed that “resistance” against Israel “is continuing and escalating.”

“The continuing terrorism of the occupation and its crimes, attempts to Judaize Jerusalem and to perform sacrifices in the Al-Aqsa Mosque to build its so-called ‘Temple’ during what they call ‘Passover’ — against it stands blood and bullets,” the terror group said in a statement.

As claimed by the police, Abbasi was trying to charge into the temple after raising the slogan of ‘Allahu Akbar’. When he was scanned at the temple’s entrance gate by police officers, he even tried to snatch the weapons of the PAC staff deployed there. Authorities have termed Abbasi’s moves to be an “act of terror” and have ordered a special team of the UP STF to probe the matter further.

Ahmad Murtaza Abbasi graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology with a degree in chemical engineering in 2015. After that, he worked as a corporate professional in Reliance Industries and Essar Petrochemicals.

Police neutralise 'suspicious package' left in Toulouse cathedral

A security cordon was set up and the public were told to avoid central Toulouse as a police operation was launched on Friday morning.

According to local newspaper La Dépêche, a man entered the cathedral during the 8am mass, put a parcel in front of the altar and then left, shouting incomprehensible words.

A priest at the Cathédrale Saint-Etienne tried to stop him as he fled. He was shoved, but not injured.

A Muslim family of Uttarakhand’s Rudrapur was at the receiving end of their neighbours’ ire for having extended their support to the BJP in the assembly elections that were held earlier this year. According to a report published in News 18, a Muslim family, including children, were severely injured by locals, who accused the family of being “Kaafir” and “betraying Islam” for supporting the BJP in Uttarakhand assembly elections.

The deadly attack against the Muslim family left 4 injured, including a girl who was seriously wounded. 6 people have been booked in the case, five of whom have been already identified by the police. The police have launched an investigation to determine the sixth culprit responsible for attacking the family

Like the New York Times with its roster of anti-Israel contributors, such as the anti-Israel post-Zionist Peter Beinart, the Washington Post favors op-ed contributors on Israel-Palestine who are very much on the side of the Palestinians. A recent example, featuring the Palestinian Mariam Barghouti, is reported on here: “Washington Post Publishes Op-Ed by Mariam Barghouti, Who Compared Israel to Nazi Germany,” by Rachel O’Donoghue, Algemeiner, April 1, 2022:

It would appear that having a documented history that has included comparing Israel to Nazi Germany does not preclude one from offering their opinions on the editorial webpages of The Washington Post, a publication that prides itself on a self-stated commitment to fairness.

Mariam Barghouti, who describes herself as a “writer and researcher based in Palestine,” was recently invited to share her views with Post readers, in a piece titled, “Another group recognized Israel’s Palestinian apartheid. How will the world react?”

On April 2, in a passionate address MNS Raj Chief Thackrey had asserted that if the government is not going to ban the loudspeakers in the mosques, he will put double loudspeakers in front of the mosques and chant Hanuman Chalisa.

In a new development, Salim Sheikh – MNS’ Muslim face in Nashik and a corporator in the Nashik Mahanagar Palika – has received threat calls on his phone over his statements on loudspeakers in Mosques. Earlier, Sheikh had issued a statement requesting his community to voluntarily give up playing Azaan on loudspeakers atop the Mosques.

Thousands came from Jenin and the surrounding villages, marching towards the home of the terrorist's family in order to express support.

On social media, they wrote, "Allah's victory is achieved through blood," and "The Al-Aqsa troops promised a response to the crime of murdering its sons in Jenin - and the troops did not neglect their duty."

The terrorist's father came out to the masses who had arrived outside the family's Jenin home and said, "Victory will come soon. In the coming days you will see the change. You will be free and independent. God, free Al-Aqsa mosque from the hands of the occupation."

Polygamous Islamist migrant rapes 29 children

Twenty-nine teenagers and children are alleged to have been victims of the criminal machinations of a 42-year-old man who was charged with raping minors and remanded in custody in Agen on Thursday ( April 7). The crimes allegedly took place between 2017 and 2020 in a remote house in Nogaro.

It is a large wooden building at the edge of the runway of the Nogaro airport, protected from view. A fairly new-looking building that a 42-year-old man from the Ivory Coast had rented from a Belgian owner and which is said to have turned into a real house of horrors over several years. The alleged crimes that took place there between 2017 and 2020 are extremely serious: rape of 15-year-old minors with barbaric acts.

Third victim of Tel Aviv terror attack a former Israeli Olympian

Barak Lopen, 35, is the third victim of Thursday's shooting attack on Dizengoff Street in Tel Aviv, the family announced on Friday. Lopen was critically injured in the shooting and succumbed to his wounds at Sourasky Medical Center.

Lopen was a former Olympian kayaker and represented Israel in the 2008 Beijing and 2012 London Olympics.

He was originally from Kibbutz Ginossar on the shores of the Kinneret but lived in Givat Shmuel, and was married with three children.

CBC News Headline Turns Palestinian Terrorist Into Victim

Subsequent to complaints sent to the CBC by HonestReporting Canada and our subscribers, we take note that CBC has amended its headline which now acknowledges that Israeli forces killed a “suspected attacker”.

While the CBC chose to not identify the Palestinian terrorist as a terrorist, which is deeply regretful in its own right, at the very least this headline no longer misleads readers into thinking that Israeli forces killed a presumably innocent Palestinian civilian.
