Muslim cleric, two others arrested for allegedly killing man over offensive Facebook post

Three people, including a Muslim cleric, have been arrested in Gujarat’s Ahmedabad district for allegedly killing a 27-year-old man, reported The Indian Express on Sunday, citing the police.

Kishan Boliya, was allegedly murdered in Dhandhuka town on Tuesday after he shared a Facebook post, which the police said had “hurt religious sentiments of some people from the minority community”.

France: More than 200 Christian graves vandalised in Houdain cemetery (VIDEO)

On the stelae you can see some nails, a sign that there was a metal rose or plate there. On Friday morning, the families whose graves were looted in this way are shocked. “We are outraged, we are angry. To do something like this in a cemetery, you really have to be totally deluded,” some lamented. “This is unthinkable, this is deplorable,” said others. The crimes occurred on the night of Tuesday to Wednesday last week.More than 200 graves were vandalised.

Almost 2,000 children killed fighting for Houthis in Yemen civil war
Some soldiers were as young as seven, reports the United Nations

Nearly 2,000 children recruited by Yemen’s Houthi rebel group died on the battlefield between 2020 and mid-2021, according to United Nations experts who said children as young as seven years old had been trained in camps as fighters.

The damaging report comes as the United Arab Emirates

U.N. report says Taliban have killed scores of former Afghan officials, others
January 30, 2022

WASHINGTON, Jan 30 (Reuters) - A U.N. report seen by Reuters says the Taliban and its allies are believed to have killed scores of former Afghan officials, security force members and people who worked with the international military contingent since the U.S.-led pullout.

U.N. Secretary General Antonio Guterres’ report to the U.N. Security Council paints a picture of worsening living conditions for Afghanistan’s 39 million people despite an end of combat with the Taliban's takeover in August.

Islamist terrorist attack on Intercity train foiled in Germany
January 30, 2022

Police officers arrested a 17-year-old man at Hanover central station on Saturday. He is suspected of having contemplated an Islamist attack.

The 17-year-old is said to have been “instructed by others in skills for committing an Islamist-motivated attack”, as a spokesperson for the Düsseldorf public prosecutor’s office told state broadcaster NDR in Lower Saxony in writing. However, there is said to have been no concrete preparation for an attack. The 17-year-old is currently in police custody and is to be brought before a magistrate. According to the Public Prosecutor’s Office, his mobile phone and computer are currently being investigated

A French journalist has been given police protection after fronting a documentary about the impact of radical Islam on a poor town in the north of the country.

Ophélie Meunier, 34, has received death threats in the wake of documentary Zone Interdite - or 'Restricted Zone - that aired in France on January 23 looking at the influence of hardline Islamic views in the town of Roubaix, on the Belgian border. 

Meunier found a restaurant where women are given cubicles to eat away from men, and a toy shop selling faceless dolls to comply with strict interpretations of Islam that forbid depicting facial features.

Girl, five, is murdered by her parents and her body dumped in the trash in 'honour killing' in Syria after she was kidnapped and raped by a stranger

A five-year-old girl who was raped by a stranger has been murdered by her family in a so-called 'honour killing', according to reports.

The young girl's parents allegedly killed their daughter in 'cold blood' after she was kidnapped and raped by an unidentified man in the Al-Shahba area of Syria on November 18.

The child's body was found in a garbage container in Manbij, north Syria, on January 27 before being transferred to Al Furat Hospital which lies in eastern Aleppo.

Court orders prosecution to file witness statements in case of Imam defilement case

A Circuit Court in Accra has ordered prosecution in the case of Abdul Mugis, a 51-year-old Imam and an Arabic teacher accused of defiling a five-year-old girl at Maamobi, a suburb of Accra, to file witness statements.

This is to enable the court presided over by Mrs Christina Cann to commence with case management conference.

Turkish ISIS leader says there was plan to assassinate opposition leaders Kılıçdaroğlu, İmamoğlu

Kasım Güler, the so-called ISIS leader of Turkey, has detailed in his confessions plans to assassinate Turkish main opposition leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and Istanbul Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu. The ISIS militant also said the group planned to attack LGBT+ people, Alevi people, tourists, and the US Air Force Base at İncirlik, according to reporting by DW Turkish.

In a 74-page confession submitted to the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor’s office, Kasım Güler, known as Abu Osama al Türki, outlined plans he devised as ISIS Turkey head to assassinate main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and Istanbul Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu. The ISIS militant also said the group planned to attack LGBT+ people, Alevi people, tourists, and the US Air Force Base at İncirlik, according to reporting by DW Turkish.

ISIS leader dies during U.S. special forces raid in Syria, Biden says

Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Qurayshi died after detonating a suicide bomb that also killed members of his family as U.S. forces closed in, the president said.

An overnight raid by United States special forces in northwestern Syria led to the death of the Islamic State terror group's top leader, Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Qurayshi, President Joe Biden said Thursday.

As U.S. forces closed in, Al-Qurayshi detonated a suicide bomb "in a final act of desperate cowardice," Biden said. The blast killed not only the ISIS leader, but also his wife and their two children, Pentagon spokesman John Kirby said.

35 people live under police protection in France because they were critical of Islam

From now on, they live isolated from the public.
