Karnataka: Pasha, ubgone19 and a juvenile stab Chandru to death for ‘not speaking Urdu’

A 22-year-old youth Chandru was brutally stabbed to death by three youths, reportedly for not speaking Urdu. The incident took place on Monday in Bengaluru’s JJ Nagar police station limits.

According to the reports, the deceased, identified as Chandru, a resident of Jaimaruthinagar, had attended a party with his friends on Monday. At around 2:30 AM, he went out to have a snack.

UP cleric held for 'issuing' death fatwa against doctor

Enass Karimeh, a Lebanese journalist working for the news site Lebanon24, said on Twitter she longs to see "Zionists" murdered and their bodies dumped on the street to be eaten by wild animals.

"Scatter the bodies of the Zionists everywhere, so it is not said that the rats are hungry in Palestine. May God strengthen your fight," Karimeh wrote.

Nigeria atheist Mubarak Bala jailed for blaspheming Islam

A Nigerian atheist has been sentenced to 24 years in prison by a high court in the northern state of Kano after being convicted of blaspheming Islam.

Mubarak Bala, the 37-year-old president of the Humanist Association of Nigeria, pleaded guilty to all 18 charges and asked for leniency.

He has been in detention since 2020.

A group of Muslims had filed a petition to the authorities accusing Bala of posting uncomplimentary messages about Islam on social media.

The state-run Student Loans and Dormitories Institution (KYK), under the Youth and Sports Ministry, has canceled an education loan granted to a university student after she attended a feminist march organized in the Mediterranean province of Antalya on International Women's Day March 8.

Just a month after her attendance to the “Feminist Night March” on April 4, Merih Talha Aydın received a letter from the KYK. The institution accused Aydın of “being involved in incidents of anarchy and terror” and of “acting in a way that violated the freedom of education (resistance, boycott, invasion, graffiti, drawing, shouting slogans, etc.).”

Church Burned, Three Killed In Central Nigeria

Nigeria (International Christian Concern) – Early Monday morning, April 4th, Fulani militants attacked Christians in central Nigeria’s Miango District. 

According to ICC’s correspondent in Nigeria, the attack by Islamist extremists killed three people and injured one. Additionally, 25 homes and 40 barns were burned. The village community church, called the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA), was burned to the ground. The militants were able to do considerable damage to the community before security personnel showed up.   

"The Fulani killed my father and brother during the attack,” a resident of the village of Ariri told ICC. He continued, “My neighbor was also killed, and my sister sustained a gunshot wound.”

Toll From Rebel Attacks In Eastern DR Congo Rises To 29

Twenty-nine people were killed by a notorious rebel group in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo at the weekend, local sources said Tuesday.

Billed by the so-called Islamic State as its local affiliate, the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) have been accused of killing thousands of civilians in the region.

What do you call it when government authorities side with anti-Semitic bigots and label those trying to monitor such extremists as bigots, and warn them that if they continue their work, they’ll be subjected to legal action? That’s the sort of thing you might expect in an authoritarian nation where Jews are subjected to informal or official discrimination, and where democratic values are either under attack or already extinguished.

Yet that is exactly what happened in New York this past week when that state’s Attorney General Letitia James issued a “cease and desist notification” to the Investigative Project on Terrorism (IPT). The letter addressed to the IPT’s Steven Emerson warned it not to “spy on Muslim houses of worship, Muslim advocacy groups and prominent Muslim leaders.” Such activity, she said, “could violate the New York Civil Rights Law, and other state and federal laws.”

‘Incel’ gets no-jail sentence for threatening to bomb NYC restaurant

An internet provocateur who identified as involuntary celibate — or “incel” — skirted jail time when he was sentenced Wednesday for threatening to set off a bomb outside of a Manhattan restaurant where two women were dining last year.

Before he was sentenced, Malik Sanchez, 20, apologized to the women he threatened and said the bomb hoax – which he livestreamed on the internet – was the actions of an “immature and reckless child.”

Islamist Americans Rub Shoulders With Western Elites in Doha

Islamist-Americans with a history of supporting Hamas rubbed shoulders with a bizarre mix of senior U.S. and European elites, at least one Taliban representative, and Iranian regime figures at a conference organized by one of the world’s leading terror sponsors.

The gathering of Islamists and their Western enablers took place at the Doha Forum held at the Sheraton in Qatar’s capital during the last weekend of March.

The forum, which was attended by luminaries such as Nobel Prize Winner and women’s rights activist Malala Yousafza, software mogul and philanthropist Bill Gates, and former U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, also featured a quartet of Islamist-Americans with histories of supporting Hamas and espousing antisemitism in the U.S.

Maldives shelters sanctioned Russian billionaires' yachts

MALE, April 7 (Reuters) - A day after coal and fertilizer billionaire Andrey Melnichenko was placed on the European Union's sanctions list on March 9, his superyacht Motor Yacht A stopped broadcasting its location while in Maldives' waters, maritime data shows.

In Italy, four days later, authorities seized another of Melnichenko's vessels – the world's largest sailing yacht, estimated by Italian financial police to be worth $578 million

Switching off devices that allow authorities to track a ship's whereabouts can help keep yachts out of their sight.

France: 3 North Africans arrested after an explosion that killed 8 people

The investigation into the tragic fire and explosion on February 14 in Saint-Laurent-de-la-Salanque points to a criminal background. At the very least, three people were arrested in the Eastern Pyrenees and in Montpellier and taken into police custody at around 10 am on Thursday April 7, as confirmed by the public prosecutor of Perpignan, Jean-David Cavaillé.

Two people were killed on Thursday after a gunman opened fire in central Tel Aviv, the latest in a string of deadly terror attacks across Israel.

The two men killed were in their 30s. Seven others are wounded. Four of them are in serious condition, including two men aged 38 and 20, and a 28-years-old woman. Three others are lightly wounded.

Police officials said the assailant was on the run, and are moving house to house searching for him. More than a thousand police officers, including elite police and military units, have joined the operation.
