What often-used prayer mentions Satan?

The prayer the Lord taught his disciples, also sometimes known as "The Lord's Prayer"
(Mat 6:13 KJVR) And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

Personally I beleive Jesus praying the the garden of Gethsemane is truly the Lords real prayer
(Mat 26:36 KJVR)  Then cometh Jesus with them unto a place called Gethsemane, and saith unto the disciples, Sit ye here, while I go and pray yonder.

(Mat 26:39 KJVR)  And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.

(Mat 26:42 KJVR)  He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done.

What is your take on this Pastor Roger?

To me it is insignificant as to which one is called the Lord's Prayer. Why not His prayers while on the cross? What is important is His teachings in prayers as well as in all things.

In which Epistle does Paul tell Christians, "Do not give place to the devil"?

Thank you Pastor Roger.  One of the many hard lessons I have learned in the past three weeks is that if I'm down or hurt or whatever the only person that is hurting, is me.  There was really not a good reason for leaving except for what I had told myself so I'm asking for you all to accept my apology for leaving like I did and to forgive me.  I'm also asking for many prayers as I continue to grow and learn all these hard lessons that God has been teaching me.

Hello Precious2God,

I second what Pastor Roger said. We are happy to have you with us. You will be in my prayers, and I would appreciate you keeping me in your prayers. Many of us have tried to form a habit of praying for each other every day. We all have needs of various types and GOD loves to hear our prayers. All of us also need encouragement and fellowship frequently. So, I give thanks that GOD has provided for us.

Love In Christ,
Tom

Thanks be unto God for His unspeakable GIFT, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour Forever!

I will keep you both in my prayers also.  Thank you for your encouragement today.  That means more than you will ever know.

What common word in our language is rotted in the Greek word translated "devil"?

Slanderer?

in Trying to find some verse to go with this, I came up with:
(Rom 1:29 KJV)  Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

That is in fact one of the meanings of the Greek word but that isn't the one that is derived from the Greek word of "diabolos". Some hints ... it is diable in Spanish, diablo in Mexico, diabolicus in Latin.
