I'm not sure where to put this, but since it will involve some Bible Study ( I hope) I will put it here until the Moderators decide otherwise.  Grin

What I want to do is put a out a Bible Trivia question and I will give you three different books that it "might" be in.  (It will be in one of the three)  When you find it, list the verse and address; ie "John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave His..........

Moderators don't get to play for 24 hours.  After the question is answered correctly, I will post the next one.

This is really a fun way to learn the Bible!

Okay.....First question:

1.  Who was the first prophet mentioned in the Bible?
(Genesis, Exodus, Ruth)

GLuv:

In Genesis 20:7, God informed Abimelech that Abraham was a prophet.  Now therefore restore the man his wife; for he is a prophet, and he shall pray for thee, and thou shalt live: and if thou restore her not, know thou that thou shalt surely die, thou, and all that are thine.

2.  What king of Israel was murdered while he was drunk?
(Exodus, 1 Kings, Judges)

1Kings 16:8  In the twenty and sixth year of Asa king of Judah began Elah the son of Baasha to reign over Israel in Tirzah, two years.
1Kings 16:9  And his servant Zimri, captain of half his chariots, conspired against him, as he was in Tirzah, drinking himself drunk in the house of Arza steward of his house in Tirzah.
1Kings 16:10  And Zimri went in and smote him, and killed him, in the twenty and seventh year of Asa king of Judah, and reigned in his stead.

Thank you so much and God Bless, Eva
