Devil, the English translation of a Greek word (diabolos) meaning ‘accuser’ or ‘slanderer,’ used in the Septuagint to translate the Hebrew ‘Satan’ and in the New Testament as a synonym for the same term. In the King James Version, it is also a translation of another Greek word (daimon),

All very good tries and very close but not quite there. The word is diabolical, from the Greek word diabolos, which literally means "slanderer, "false accuser", or even "opponent".

Who promised Christians that "the God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet"?

Answer:  Paul

Romans 16:20
And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

What affliction did Paul attribute to the power of Satan?

Thorn in the flesh:

2 Corinthians 12:7  And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.

That's correct. While we don't know exactly what this "thorn" was we know that it did in fact make him weak as we see verse 9. We also see another lesson in these verses and that is even Christians may have to suffer some fleshy infirmity. Praise God though we have a much better hope through Christ and a promise of a future without pain and suffering.

AMEN!

This is a beautiful truth from the Holy Bible. Our afflictions can many times bring us closer to CHRIST. In all things, we should give thanks.

I seem to have forgotten to post a question again. I do apologize for this and will try to remember to do it more frequently.

Paul referred to Satan as the "prince of the power of the _______."

That's correct.

Since I missed yesterday here's another one.

What book and verses of the Bible refers to an earthly city "where Satan's throne is?

I think that with what I find here that Satan is the most evil being we could ever imagine and is beyond describing.
I thank "GOD" for His grace and His promise,That He will never leave nor forsake me; that I will never have to worry about seeing satan.

Amen.  And Amen!

What was the one rule God imposed on Adam in the Graden of Eden?

What was the penalty if that rule was broken?
