Thank you Brothers.
The forum this time wasn't Christian.
Can I get link to the forums please?
I can't wait for that day that we'll meet in the clouds.
Hello Brother David,
First, you're most welcome. Brother I've looked at many other forums that claim to be Christian, but the ones I've looked at appear to be simply places for everyone to make fun of Christians and mock the things of God. They've actually been taken over by folks who are anti-Christian and anti-Christ.
I do visit two forums from time to time that are devoted solely to Bible Study Software: one for The Word and one for e-Sword. Neither are very active or busy, but they are good places to go to find out about new releases and resources. As an example, the release of The Word 3 is big news, and many users have made modules to use with it. They currently have organized groups of users working on all kinds of new resources for The Word. The Word is specifically designed to make it easy for users to make modules, so I think it has a very bright future. As a contrast, e-Sword is much more difficult to make modules, and it's gotten more difficult in recent releases.
The Address for The Word Forum is
http://forum.theword.gr/
The Word Forum is really friendly and contains a lot of good help information for folks wanting to incorporate their own study notes and make things for their own use in Bible Study. There's also many links on the forum for user contributed materials.
e-Sword has many forums, but nearly all of them are inactive. You might find as many as 15 forums if you do a Google search for "e-Sword Forum". Most of them are dead and/or have been inactive for long periods of time. I think one of the main reasons for this is newer versions of e-Sword making user-made resources unusable. However, there are still heavy pluses for e-Sword, with or without the large number of commercial add-ons. This is why my favorite version of e-Sword is much older. This is also why my overall favorite Bible Study Software is probably going to be The Word. Regardless, I can use them all, but I am converting much of my personal materials over to The Word.
Love In Christ,
Tom
Ephesians 1:3-8 ASV 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ: 4 even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blemish before him in love: 5 having foreordained us unto adoption as sons through Jesus Christ unto himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, 6 to the praise of the glory of his grace, which he freely bestowed on us in the Beloved: 7 in whom we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, 8 which he made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence,

Hello ALL,
I do have my coffee, and it will probably be the last one for this day. I'm going to see if I can sleep at a normal time two nights in a row.
I've had a great day and been able to do some Bible Study. Every portion of Scripture always has a message for us, regardless of how many times we read it. That's the amazing, supernatural qualities of the Bible, something that only God can do. It's nice to have the full realization that God's Will IS going to be done, and all of God's Promises WILL be done perfectly. The chaos of the evil in this world is just NOISE, and it will be quieted forever at God's Appointed time. There will be more chaos and more NOISE as the evil gets stronger, but this will be a sign that the SECOND COMING OF CHRIST is growing near. The EVIL NOISE will be ended and replaced with sounds of rejoicing and praise to God. The powers of darkness will be locked away for final judgment to the eternal fires of hell. The rule and reign of the devil will be over, and CHRIST HIMSELF will rule and reign over the earth from the Throne of David in Jerusalem.
As for Christians:
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 ASV 13 But we would not have you ignorant, brethren, concerning them that fall asleep; that ye sorrow not, even as the rest, who have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also that are fallen asleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we that are alive, that are left unto the coming of the Lord, shall in no wise precede them that are fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven, with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first; 17 then we that are alive, that are left, shall together with them be caught up in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
1 Corinthians 15:50-58 ASV 50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. 51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We all shall not sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 But when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 55 O death, where is thy victory? O death, where is thy sting? 56 The sting of death is sin; and the power of sin is the law: 57 but thanks be to God, who giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 58 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not vain in the Lord.
Revelation 21:4-23 ASV 4 and he shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and death shall be no more; neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more: the first things are passed away. 5 And he that sitteth on the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he saith, Write: for these words are faithful and true. 6 And he said unto me, They are come to pass. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. 7 He that overcometh shall inherit these things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. 8 But for the fearful, and unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, and fornicators, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, their part shall be in the lake that burneth with fire and brimstone; which is the second death. 9 And there came one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls, who were laden with the seven last plagues; and he spake with me, saying, Come hither, I will show thee the bride, the wife of the Lamb. 10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the holy city Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, 11 having the glory of God: her light was like unto a stone most precious, as it were a jasper stone, clear as crystal: 12 having a wall great and high; having twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels; and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: 13 on the east were three gates; and on the north three gates; and on the south three gates; and on the west three gates. 14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. 15 And he that spake with me had for a measure a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof. 16 And the city lieth foursquare, and the length thereof is as great as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs: the length and the breadth and the height thereof are equal. 17 And he measured the wall thereof, a hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of an angel. 18 And the building of the wall thereof was jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto pure glass. 19 The foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, chalcedony; the fourth, emerald; 20 the fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, topaz; the tenth, chrysoprase; the eleventh, jacinth; the twelfth, amethyst. 21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; each one of the several gates was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass. 22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God the Almighty, and the Lamb, are the temple thereof. 23 And the city hath no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine upon it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the lamp thereof is the Lamb.
Revelation 22:1-8 ASV 1 And he showed me a river of water of life, bright as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb, 2 in the midst of the street thereof. And on this side of the river and on that was the tree of life, bearing twelve manner of fruits, yielding its fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. 3 And there shall be no curse any more: and the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be therein: and his servants shall serve him; 4 and they shall see his face; and his name shall be on their foreheads. 5 And there shall be night no more; and they need no light of lamp, neither light of sun; for the Lord God shall give them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever. 6 And he said unto me, These words are faithful and true: and the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent his angels to show unto his servants the things which must shortly come to pass. 7 And behold, I come quickly. Blessed is he that keepeth the words of the prophecy of this book. 8 And I John am he that heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel that showed me these things.

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!
I give thanks for a good rest last night, and I'm about to have some coffee. I'm planning to read some Godly materials this morning and study the Bible.
It's another wonderful day that the Lord has made - let us be glad and rejoice in it.
Love In Christ,
Tom

Well I'm here on the forum with my coffee. I do feel blessed even though persecution goes on for Christians. I don't worry about myself, as I believe the Lord is working His own time table.
Psalm 56:4
In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.
This is how all Christians should be. The day is coming that, we won't ever have this happen to any Christian. I don't fear man at all. Because what can man do to me?? kill me??
At times that would be a blessing, when I'm in so much pain.
And now, I need to refill my coffee...............................

I will post this occasionally but, November 8, 2009 is
International day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church
. On this Sunday, I will ask y'all to join me in prayer for the persecuted church, and individual Christians being persecuted in this world.

Do you mean coffee
or the International day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church. He will probably just put so much tax on the coffee that the average person can't afford to have any. The International day of Prayer is sponsored by The Voice of the Martyrs not by any nation. he may try but he will never be able to do away with prayer. Like many gifts from God they are gifts that cannot be taken away. Man may try to regulate them, he may do what he can to prevent them from being public, but no man can stop them.

Brother David, I know you have heard off the Christian underground. Chances are if Obama would try any do away with our faith in the Lord, he would fail. Christians would go underground. So long as 2 or more gather in His name, Jesus is present. The Apostle Paul affirmed changes in spiritual atmosphere when he told the Corinthian church to do certain things when the “power” of Jesus was present.
1 Corinthians 5:4
In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,
This verse, found in 1 Corinthians 5:4, directs us to understand that there is apparently a deeper atmosphere- when the power of Jesus is present and discerned. God is always with us, but sometimes He lets us know it! Keep your ears and eyes open for the power of God as atmosphere is developed.
One of the beautiful things about gathering together in prayer for healing is that we have the opportunity to join our faith with others. Jesus touched solitary individuals, but He also touched people in the midst of gatherings. Jesus desires to minister His covenant to people, and when they gather in faith He is present. He said that as two or three gather in His name, He is present with them.
Obama may try to do away with alot of Christian ways. In the long run Obama would fail, for only through Christ, are we free..................

Hello Everyone,
I first say AMEN on everything said about prayer and worship. Evil men can't stop either, regardless of how hard they try. I do try to remain informed about persecuted Christians around the world, and Voice of the Martyrs is excellent. I try to pray for the persecuted CHURCH every day, but I still like the idea of an International Prayer Day. We all need to be aware that Christians are being beaten, imprisoned, persecuted and killed around the world every day. Sadly, the times are growing much worse, not better. Many of the victims are missionaries, and they help people in countless ways. In fact, they address desperate needs that sustain life itself, but they are killed or persecuted simply for being Christians. Just think about how evil one would be to stop their work. They don't help their own and stop others from trying. I'm talking about food, clothing, clean water, and other basic necessities of life. The Christian Missionaries keep coming, knowing the risk.
If we are approaching the Tribulation Period, God's Word tells us that things are going to get much worse. I don't know what various evil administrations will do tomorrow, but I do know that the entire world will one day be plunged into evil, chaos, horror, and bloodshed beyond human imagination. I think those days are near. Again, I echo what others have said and say AMEN. As an individual Christian, I don't plan to stop doing anything. I've already been rescued from the curse of sin and death, so
I'm a freed man IN CHRIST. I hope to boldly say and do what God leads me to do until Christ comes to Rapture us home to Glory. I know that I can only do that with God's Help, and I pray that all will be for His Glory. Jesus Christ is my Lord and Saviour, and the Gospel of the Grace of God is still the most powerful message in the universe. His Word will endure forever, and it will always accomplish His Perfect Will and Purpose.
Love In Christ,
Tom

Hello Brother Bob,
Thanks Brother and the same to you. Yes, I do have my coffee, and I'm having a nice day. I'm trying to catch up on my mail and things that I'd like to post. I'm also enjoying a nice variety of Godly materials that we always have on the forum.

Well I'm slowly moving around today, better then yesterday. I have my coffee, and the joy from the Lord within me.
I pray that each of you today carry your faith upon your shoulders, and boldly walk in Christ. May the Lord calm you, and strengthen you, to proclaim Him Lord, through out the day.
2 Corinthians 10:1-3
Now I Paul myself beseech you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, who in presence am base among you, but being absent am bold toward you:
2
But I beseech you, that I may not be bold when I am present with that confidence, wherewith I think to be bold against some, which think of us as if we walked according to the flesh.
3
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:

GOOD MORNING BROTHER BOB AND ALL!
I'm very happy to hear that you're feeling better, but the prayers will continue. How about a beautiful portion of Scripture from Psalms:
Psalms 37:7-20 (ASV)7 Rest in Jehovah, and wait patiently for him: Fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, Because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. 8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: Fret not thyself, [it tendeth] only to evil-doing. 9 For evil-doers shall be cut off; But those that wait for Jehovah, they shall inherit the land. 10 For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: Yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and he shall not be. 11 But the meek shall inherit the land, And shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace. 12 The wicked plotteth against the just, And gnasheth upon him with his teeth. 13 The Lord will laugh at him; For he seeth that his day is coming. 14 The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, To cast down the poor and needy, To slay such as are upright in the way. 15 Their sword shall enter into their own heart, And their bows shall be broken. 16 Better is a little that the righteous hath Than the abundance of many wicked. 17 For the arms of the wicked shall be broken; But Jehovah upholdeth the righteous. 18 Jehovah knoweth the days of the perfect; And their inheritance shall be for ever. 19 They shall not be put to shame in the time of evil; And in the days of famine they shall be satisfied. 20 But the wicked shall perish, And the enemies of Jehovah shall be as the fat of lambs: They shall consume; in smoke shall they consume away.
Love In Christ,
Tom

Big spring like storms are hitting here right now. I made a big pot of coffee and filling up the thermos with it just in case the power goes out. Drinking coffee, watching the storms and getting some badly needed rest and as I do my mind goes back to an old, old song.
What does tomorrow hold
Nobody really knows
The future is never ours to see
So much uncertainty
Still we keep holding on to
Yesterday, when yesterday is gone
But even in the darkest night, we're safe inside His love
And that's where we still stay
In the hands of Jesus, we remain until we're home
Standing together, come what may
For we know that we will not be moved
We will remain in Jesus' hands
Just let your fear subside
Here it is safe inside
And though every storm is hard to see
We are bound by unity
For even as we struggle in our battle,
We know the victory is won
And no power on this earth can ever separate us now
We're in the hands of God
We will remain
In the hands of our Savior
We will remain
Even in our weakest hour
The power that strengthens us will never die
It will stand the test of time
Throughout all time
