I'm sitting here enjoying some coffee and the extra cool temperatures. It is unusually cool for July. We've had highs in the upper 60' and lower 70's for most of the month with just a few days getting up into 80's and 90's. I realize that some states have been getting really high temps.

I've been looking out my window watching the wild life. The animals are already starting to put on winter weight, a winter coat and filling up their pantries for the winter. Usually they don't do that until Sept or Oct. The squirrels have beefed up their nests. The groundhogs and beavers have cleaned out their burrows and the first group of Canadian Geese are already here. It looks like we might be having an extra early winter on it's way.

It sounds like a COLD EMERGENCY. Maybe we should call Al Gore and he can bring some of his HOT AIR he spouts with him. I forgot - he takes that with him wherever he goes.

I also have my coffee - hot and fresh. If you get too cold up there, wear your coat and mittens.

I did have my fall jacket out this morning. I was able to take it off around 11am. Al Gore just might be the answer. I think I'll wait though until after tomorrow as I have to wear a suit and that's easier to do in the cooler weather.

Hello Everyone!

How are you all?

Hello Brother David,

Thanks for asking. I'm having a great day and things are going great. I'm also a little bit tired, but I rested well last night. I got to hold and play with a little grand-niece yesterday and got to see members of the family I haven't seen in a long time. It was a wonderful time of fellowship and thanksgiving. We ate and spent the afternoon together. We all reflected on how good God is to us and how He is watching over us and blessing us. I'm sad that they live so far way and we don't get to see them very often, but we are already together in CHRIST for eternity. These are beautiful things that Christian families can reflect on often and give thanks to God.

Love In Christ,
Tom

O'top of thee day to ye all. I pray each of you reading this, have a great day in the Lord.

Well I have my coffee, and the Lord always with me. To y'all reading this;

God loves you! You are special to Him. God doesn't love you because you are a good person or do everything right. He loves you because He is love. Love is not something God does; it is something He is. It is His nature.

Gods love is pure and ever flowing. It cannot be earned or deserved. It must be received by faith. Unless you have received it yourself, you cannot give love away. Let God love you. Receive His love for you. Bathe in it. Pray on it. Let it strengthen you.

AMEN DREAMWEAVER!

Brother, your thoughts are true and comforting in such a troubled world. I wish the lost of this world could imagine what it's like to have the Grace, Love, and Peace of God. It's nice to know that many are still accepting Christ, and they find out what it's like to never be alone again.

I love your graphic - it's beautiful.

G'DAY MATES!

Love In Christ,
Tom

Ephesians 2:1-10 (ASV)1 And you [did he make alive,] when ye were dead through your trespasses and sins, 2 wherein ye once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the powers of the air, of the spirit that now worketh in the sons of disobedience; 3 among whom we also all once lived in the lust of our flesh, doing the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest:— 4 but God, being rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, 5 even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace have ye been saved), 6 and raised us up with him, and made us to sit with him in the heavenly [places] , in Christ Jesus: 7 that in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus: 8 for by grace have ye been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, [it is] the gift of God; 9 not of works, that no man should glory. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God afore prepared that we should walk in them.

I am not having a good day. There is a fight on another forum. Being called a hypocrite because I said catholics aren't Christians.

I didn't even start talking about Christianity but accused of doing so because of avatar. When in fact it was someone who commented on avatar.

I'm sorry to hear that you are not having such a great day today, brother David. Unfortunately there are people in this world that are not happy with their lives and do all they can to attempt to make others miserable also. Praise God that we do have all the reasons in the world to be happy no matter what trials or tribulations may come our way.

Hello Brother David,

I'm also sorry to hear that you're having a hard day. I don't think there's time for warfare, and it's always unpleasant. I echo what Pastor Roger told you, and I'd like to add that CHRIST is coming soon to RAPTURE us HOME to GLORY.

Love In Christ,
Tom

I am not having a good day. There is a fight on another forum. Being called a hypocrite because I said catholics aren't Christians.

I didn't even start talking about Christianity but accused of doing so because of avatar. When in fact it was someone who commented on avatar.

Hello Brother David,

My wife had supper waiting for me when I first read this, so I came back to read it again. There is something more I think should be said. Christians aren't defined by the name over the door of the local assembly they attend, rather by what they believe in their hearts about Jesus Christ.

The only REAL CHURCH is a LIVING BODY called THE CHURCH WHICH IS THE BODY OF CHRIST. The name or denomination of the local assembly they attend means nothing. All members of THE CHURCH WHICH IS THE BODY OF CHRIST are SAVED. This is a CHURCH not made with human hands, and it isn't of this world. I want to share a portion of Scripture that explains this better than I ever could:

Colossians 1:1-29 (ASV)1 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus through the will of God, and Timothy our brother, 2 To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ [that are] at Colossae: Grace to you and peace from God our Father. 3 We give thanks to God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you, 4 having heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have toward all the saints, 5 because of the hope which is laid up for you in the heavens, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel, 6 which is come unto you; even as it is also in all the world bearing fruit and increasing, as [it doth] in you also, since the day ye heard and knew the grace of God in truth; 7 even as ye learned of Epaphras our beloved fellow-servant, who is a faithful minister of Christ on our behalf, 8 who also declared unto us your love in the Spirit. 9 For this cause we also, since the day we heard [it] , do not cease to pray and make request for you, that ye may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, 10 to walk worthily of the Lord unto all pleasing, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; 11 strengthened with all power, according to the might of his glory, unto all patience and longsuffering with joy; 12 giving thanks unto the Father, who made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light; 13 who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the kingdom of the Son of his love; 14 in whom we have our redemption, the forgiveness of our sins: 15 who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation; 16 for in him were all things created, in the heavens and upon the earth, things visible and things invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers; all things have been created through him, and unto him; 17 and he is before all things, and in him all things consist. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. 19 For it was the good pleasure [of the Father] that in him should all the fulness dwell; 20 and through him to reconcile all things unto himself, having made peace through the blood of his cross; through him, [I say] , whether things upon the earth, or things in the heavens. 21 And you, being in time past alienated and enemies in your mind in your evil works, 22 yet now hath he reconciled in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and without blemish and unreproveable before him: 23 if so be that ye continue in the faith, grounded and stedfast, and not moved away from the hope of the gospel which ye heard, which was preached in all creation under heaven; whereof I Paul was made a minister. 24 Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and fill up on my part that which is lacking of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body’s sake, which is the church; 25 whereof I was made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which was given me to you-ward, to fulfil the word of God, 26 [ even] the mystery which hath been hid for ages and generations: but now hath it been manifested to his saints, 27 to whom God was pleased to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: 28 whom we proclaim, admonishing every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ; 29 whereunto I labor also, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.

I just want to make a few comments about this beautiful portion of Scripture. Christians have Eternal Life only because JESUS CHRIST has Eternal Life, and we are MEMBERS OF HIS BODY - THE BODY OF CHRIST. Literally, CHRIST IS OUR ALL FOR ETERNITY! CHRIST is the HEAD OF HIS CHURCH and Faith in CHRIST is the FOUNDATION OF HIS CHURCH. This church isn't built with brick and mortar or other earthly building materials - RATHER WITH LIVING AND ETERNAL STONES. We are those LIVING STONES that form HIS ETERNAL BODY, and CHRIST is the FOUNDATION AND HEAD. All of mankind's denominations, tags, and labels will be left behind and mean nothing. FAITH is what matters, and GOD knows the hearts of them that are HIS. HOW? - Their Hearts are already sealed with the HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD making them ETERNAL POSSESSIONS OF JESUS CHRIST. And remember, the HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD lives in their hearts.

Brother David, please look at a smaller portion of this Scripture again:

Colossians 1:12-14 (ASV)12 giving thanks unto the Father, who made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light; 13 who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the kingdom of the Son of his love; 14 in whom we have our redemption, the forgiveness of our sins:

"translated us into the kingdom of the Son of his love" - At the moment we accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, God translates (quickens) us into the Son He Loves, JESUS CHRIST. GOD does this immediately, and it's HIS WORK. We don't rely on man - JUST GOD. The Work of SALVATION has already been COMPLETED PERFECTLY ON THE CROSS OF CALVARY. There isn't anything complicated about SALVATION - just simple childlike FAITH:  1) Jesus Christ is who He said that He is - VERY GOD;  2) He was made manifest in the flesh as a man, but He was also fully GOD because HE IS A HOLY GODHEAD (GOD THE FATHER, GOD THE SON, AND GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT);  3) He willingly went to the CROSS to die in our place and pay for our sins;  4) Jesus Christ arose from the dead on the third day and IS OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR FOREVER.

Love In Christ,
Tom

Acts 15:8-11 ASV  8  And God, who knoweth the heart, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Spirit, even as he did unto us;  9  and he made no distinction between us and them, cleansing their hearts by faith.  10  Now therefore why make ye trial of God, that ye should put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?  11  But we believe that we shall be saved through the grace of the Lord Jesus, in like manner as they.

Brother David,

There are people that will look for anything to argue/fight about. Your avatar on this other forum proves this brother. This is one of the reasons I am pretty much on C.U. only. There are other forums I am on, as is Pastor Roger. Those forums though for the most part don't allow flaming, trash talking fools. Also remember that in the world Jesus was hated first.

John 15:18-19 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. 19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

Take strength in the Word of Christ brother. I have a feeling that the hatred of this world is going to become worse, as time goes on till the Lord calls us home. The  He calls us David, I do want to meet you in the cloulds, along with brothers Tom and Roger, plus others on the fourm. What a day of rejoicing we will have!!.

By the way, I do know a few Catholics that are Christians, they are Catholic in name only.

I you are bothered by this other forum, because of your avatar, leave it, find another that doesn't flame/argue/fight over a picture. Both Pastor Roger and I have been banned from a forum, that was suppose to be a Christian forum, but all they taught were lies. The moderator there, called himself Abba, which means father. Now I wouldn't object to that much but, he was putting himself on level with God.

Take care brother, and take it easy............ rest in the strenght of the Lord, and let Him calm you brother. And remember, you are loved in Christ, and you are loved by your brothers and sisters here, on Christians Unite forum.

Thank you Brothers.

The forum this time wasn't Christian.

Your welcome brother, I've seen you grow in Christ and I'm glad I know you David. I think the others will also agree with my statement as well.

Some of these other forums you need to watch for a while. That will tell you the truth of that particular forum. Then if you like what you see, then register for an account. The other forum I'm on deals in part with my illness.

I can't wait for that day that we'll meet in the clouds.

AMEN brother, that is a day I look forwards to as well. Because through Christ, we have freedoms others don't know. We also should be the happiest people on earth, because of Christ sacrifice for us.
