I would like some "Crowns", but not for pride or vanity.
Amen and to be able to place them at the feet of Jesus in honor of Him and for His glory.
Quote
Sister May, if I don't get any crowns, going HOME to GLORY is more than any human can imagine.
Amen, indeed the greatest of all gifts is just to be able to be there.

I had a heaven dream last night. It was the marriage thing. Strangely I was in my wheelchair.

Hello Brother David,
I can tell you for certain that you won't be needing that wheelchair in Heaven. You already know that GOD will give us a glorified BODY at the time of the RAPTURE of the dead and living IN CHRIST! Flesh and blood can't inherit the things that GOD has waiting for us, so the GLORIFIED BODY will NOT be flesh and blood. This is really hard for us to imagine because all we have ever seen is flesh and blood bodies.
We many times see things in our dreams that are like things we see in this short life, probably including buildings, streets, cars, etc., etc., etc. We can only imagine anything else because we haven't seen it or experienced it yet. Most will be beyond anything that we can imagine, even if we have a very active imagination. What would a Body like CHRIST has be like? I really don't know, but it isn't flesh and blood. We should also know that CHRIST has no need for cars, trains, and other modes of transportation. How does HE move and travel? I don't know? Does HE have wings, and how fast can HE go? I don't know. We know that the HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD lives in the heart of every Christian, so is HE stretched pretty thin? NO. Do I have an explanation? NO. Can I imagine an explanation that would be reasonable for the tiny brains of men? NO. Can we explain no beginning and no ending - Eternity Past and Eternity Future? NO. We just have a tiny glimpse of GOD'S CREATION and only know what HE wants us to know for right now. We would ask questions like men would naturally ask like, "Does GOD need oxygen or breath?" NO - so how do we explain this? We ask questions that relate to human experience and knowledge, but GOD'S WORD talks about all kinds of things that are SUPERNATURAL and outside of the realm that we think in. How about a thousand years could be like a day to GOD? Do we have any concept of time like the ETERNAL ALMIGHTY would? NO.
Brother David, these are fascinating things to think about, but there are many things that we can't know until GOD tells us. In the meantime, we can KEEP LOOKING UP and know that's where our HOME will be with JESUS CHRIST. I know that we won't have any need of the sun because our light will be from the LIGHT OF THE LAMB OF GOD - JESUS CHRIST! Could our Glorified bodies look something like Light because of the descriptions given in the Bible? I don't know, but this would be one of my wild guesses. We also know there won't be any pain, illness, sorrow, or tears - just JOY IN CHRIST! GOD isn't limited to one location or limited in any other way that our little human brains think is reasonable. Will we be limited to one location? I don't know.
In fact, I don't know much at all. The collective wisdom of all mankind would be nothing to GOD. Our most brilliant scientist study matter, but GOD CREATED IT from NOTHING! How does GOD make something from NOTHING? I don't know, but maybe GOD will tell us some of these things one day.
Love In Christ,
Tom
Revelation 21:1-27 ASV And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth are passed away; and the sea is no more. 2 And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a great voice out of the throne saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he shall dwell with them, and they shall be his peoples, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God: 4 and he shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and death shall be no more; neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more: the first things are passed away. 5 And he that sitteth on the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he saith, Write: for these words are faithful and true. 6 And he said unto me, They are come to pass. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. 7 He that overcometh shall inherit these things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. 8 But for the fearful, and unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, and fornicators, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, their part shall be in the lake that burneth with fire and brimstone; which is the second death. 9 And there came one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls, who were laden with the seven last plagues; and he spake with me, saying, Come hither, I will show thee the bride, the wife of the Lamb. 10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the holy city Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, 11 having the glory of God: her light was like unto a stone most precious, as it were a jasper stone, clear as crystal: 12 having a wall great and high; having twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels; and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: 13 on the east were three gates; and on the north three gates; and on the south three gates; and on the west three gates. 14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. 15 And he that spake with me had for a measure a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof. 16 And the city lieth foursquare, and the length thereof is as great as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs: the length and the breadth and the height thereof are equal. 17 And he measured the wall thereof, a hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of an angel. 18 And the building of the wall thereof was jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto pure glass. 19 The foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, chalcedony; the fourth, emerald; 20 the fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, topaz; the tenth, chrysoprase; the eleventh, jacinth; the twelfth, amethyst. 21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; each one of the several gates was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass. 22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God the Almighty, and the Lamb, are the temple thereof. 23 And the city hath no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine upon it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the lamp thereof is the Lamb. 24 And the nations shall walk amidst the light thereof: and the kings of the earth bring their glory into it. 25 And the gates thereof shall in no wise be shut by day (for there shall be no night there): 26 and they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it: 27 and there shall in no wise enter into it anything unclean, or he that maketh an abomination and a lie: but only they that are written in the Lamb's book of life.

Brother David,
I was just chuckling a little bit - thinking about a CHARIOT OF LIGHT for those days we might not be feeling well. BUT, there aren't any days like that in Heaven. It's fun just thinking about all the possibilities, and all we can think of will fall far short of what will be.
Brother David, I have a wheelchair now and don't like it, and my wife told me NO on the CHARIOT OF LIGHT!

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!
I have my coffee and I'm splurging some this morning with some oatmeal cookies that sure do taste good with coffee. NO - I'm not dunking. ;D
We've had a pretty wild night here, and things are still wild today for many people in Oklahoma. We've had firestorms in many places, and there are still active firestorms right now. Many people have lost their homes, so many would appreciate your prayers. I don't know how many people have been hurt or killed right now, but the conditions remain bad for more firestorms.
Many of you probably have no idea what a firestorm is, so I'll tell you they happen with the right combination of combustion, wind conditions, and dry fuel for more fires. We've needed rain and didn't get it, and we have unusual wind conditions around the state. I'll just say that I remember many times that our city was in danger of being engulfed in firestorms. Most would think that modern fire departments could easily deal with fires, but this isn't true with firestorms. Firestorms move quickly and consume everything in their paths. Even the best fire departments with the best equipment have a difficult time slowing them down or stopping them. They involve huge walls of fire moving quickly because they are driven by the wind. They even make an odd noise like a roar as large quantities of fuel are consumed quickly. The tactics involved in fighting these monsters usually involves firebreaks and sometimes even explosives in the worst-case scenarios. They are truly a frightful freak of nature. Things like this humble mankind because the awesome power of nature in unleashed, but things like this are tiny in comparison to other natural disasters that can be unleashed at any time (i.e. hurricanes, tornadoes, volcanoes, etc.). I think that we all take for granted how many things that GOD holds in check. Things like this are a reminder that there are times in the future where GOD will unleash many things that HE has held in check.
If something like global warming existed, it wouldn't be anything to worry about. Mankind has been disobedient to GOD and rejected JESUS CHRIST as LORD and SAVIOUR. WORSE - much of mankind has openly mocked ALMIGHTY GOD - OUR CREATOR. If mankind wants to worry about SOMETHING REAL - mankind can worry about the coming HOLY WRATH OF ALMIGHTY GOD! This will happen at the end of the Tribulation Period, but man will suffer in great EVIL for 7 years before CHRIST comes to crush evil and restore peace. IF global warming is real (AND IT'S NOT!), it would be nothing in comparison to what is to come. The firestorms I'm talking about are like a picnic in comparison. 75% of the earth's population is about to die in a time of great horror like the world has never known.
GOD IS NOT MOCKED! -- GOD'S PATIENCE WITH EVIL IS NOT EVERLASTING! -- GOD WILL CRUSH EVIL AT HIS APPOINTED TIME AND RESERVE IT FOR ETERNAL PUNISHMENT!
Life is very uncertain for man, and any minute or hour could be TOO LATE to accept JESUS CHRIST as LORD and SAVIOUR!
As Christians, we don't need to be concerned with non-existent global warming that is just another con game and example of man's corruption! As Christians, we need to be praying for the LOST and those who will die in their sins without JESUS CHRIST! They face the absolute reality of the eternal fires of HELL! Man can't do a single thing about this - BUT JESUS CHRIST CAN!
Love In Christ,
Tom
2 Corinthians 4:1-18 NIV 1 1 Therefore, since through God's mercy we have this ministry, we do not lose heart. 2 Rather, we have renounced secret and shameful ways; we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of God. On the contrary, by setting forth the truth plainly we commend ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. 3 And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. 4 The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. 5 For we do not preach ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake. 6 For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. 7 But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. 8 We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; 9 persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. 10 We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. 11 For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus' sake, so that his life may be revealed in our mortal body. 12 So then, death is at work in us, but life is at work in you. 13 It is written: "I believed; therefore I have spoken." With that same spirit of faith we also believe and therefore speak, 14 because we know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead will also raise us with Jesus and present us with you in his presence. 15 All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God. 16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

GOOD NEWS!
1:
Romans 3:10 NASB as it is written, "THERE IS NONE RIGHTEOUS, NOT EVEN ONE; THERE IS NONE WHO UNDERSTANDS, THERE IS NONE WHO SEEKS FOR GOD; ALL HAVE TURNED ASIDE, TOGETHER THEY HAVE BECOME USELESS; THERE IS NONE WHO DOES GOOD, THERE IS NOT EVEN ONE."
2:
Romans 3:23 NASB for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
3:
Romans 5:12 NASB Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned--
4:
Romans 6:23 NASB For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
5:
Romans 1:18 NASB For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,
6:
Romans 3:20 NASB because by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes the knowledge of sin.
7:
Romans 3:27 NASB Where then is boasting? It is excluded. By what kind of law? Of works? No, but by a law of faith.
8: Romans 5:8-9 NASB But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him.
9:
Romans 2:4 NASB Or do you think lightly of the riches of His kindness and tolerance and patience, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance?
10:
Romans 3:22 NASB even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction;
11:
Romans 3:28 NASB For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from works of the Law.
12: Romans 10:9 NASB that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;
13:
Romans 4:21 NASB and being fully assured that what God had promised, He was able also to perform.
14:
Romans 4:24 NASB but for our sake also, to whom it will be credited, as those who believe in Him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead,
15:
Romans 5:1 NASB Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
16: Romans 10:10 NASB for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.
17: Romans 10:13 NASB for "WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED."
Thanks be unto GOD for HIS unspeakable GIFT!, JESUS CHRIST, our Lord and Saviour forever!
