By the way, I'll spend one sentence getting this back on topic. I have my coffee, and I got wild putting some diet coffee-mate in it. They only have two diet flavors, and I like both of them from time to time. They really need a coffee flavored coffee-mate.   Huh   UM? - But I've got real coffee and don't need it. There's nothing like the aroma of fresh coffee, especially since my doctor TOLD me to drink it - all I want. I just told the doctor to twist my arm a tiny bit and I would do exactly what he told me to. As it turns out, coffee is part of GOD'S Pharmacy, and it has several almost amazing health benefits (i.e. anti-oxident).

Coffee-mate?? Huh

Brother you have killed the flavor of coffee...........................  Cry

I must repeat that my mother did say ONCE that I was a good looking lad. Besides, I grew up and look better in person. see Above.

I've been told that I'm handsome and debonair to the max, but I have no idea why they keep shooting me with tranquilizer darts and I wake up in the zoo.

Boy, oh boy do I need this coffee this morning!  Our move to our brand new building is in full swing!  There will be moving trucks coming and going all next week to move us.  I spent yesterday washing down about 65 mattress' and bed frames.  Goodness!  We have been labeling everything in sight so that the movers will know what goes where in the new place.  Very exciting!  But very exhausting also!  Praise God though for this new building.  Every bit of the money was raised by donations and the sell of the old building as we except no state or government money so that they can't tell us we can't preach the Good News!  I am so happy to get out of the rough and drug infested neighborhood that we have been in and I especially excited that we will have our own playground for the kids to get outside and play in!  God is Good!

I sure hope the coffee pot is still on. With all this "good news" in the news of our great nation being ruined by the government, I can use all the hot coffee and good humor I can get, (liked the baby pictures) but most of all the scriptures you quoted. We need to keep praying and reading our Bibles and mostly keep praying for those we know who have not yet become right with the Lord. My heart crys out daily that they might see the light and be saved before its too late.

Hello Grammyluv and All,

I'll just say AMEN!

I'm very happy to hear about the new facility. This makes me think about new and updated places here to help people. Several were near and dear to me because I knew many of the people they were helping and the people doing the helping. I'm thinking specifically about a children's shelter and a women's shelter. I'll also give thanks that GOD laid it on the hearts of many to provide what the shelters needed. For me, the children's shelter pulled on my heart strings the most because many of the children didn't have a parent who loved or cared for them. Things were similar at the women's shelter, but the children at least had one parent who did care about them.

It makes me sad to reflect on almost countless situations of abuse and neglect. As a contrast, I'm happy when thinking about all the people trying to help them. As usual, GOD is a big part of every potential solution in many ways - MOST specifically including PRAYER. It's beyond ODD that many of the lost want to blame GOD for the problems instead of the devil and man. As Christians, we should know that GOD hasn't finished dealing with evil and the devil yet, but HE WILL at HIS Appointed time. In the meantime, we should all know that GOD isn't part of the problem, and GOD has never been part of the problem all the way back to Adam. GOD IS THE ANSWER!

Love In Christ,
Tom

It has been a very busy week and I know that I have been hit and miss around here.  Besides the move, that is going beautifully, my dad showed up out of the blue from Alabama!  This man is 79 and has cancer, although he claims that he has never had a moments pain from it.  He drove himself out here and is staying all week.  Unfortunately, with not knowing that he was coming, I can't get any days off, but my boss is letting me work some shortened hours this week so that I can spend as much time with him as possible.
My dad was also a severe alcoholic all his life and now talks about the Lord and had 6 years sober in January!  God can change even the least likely of us at anytime!  So don't quit praying for those friends and family members because you've given up hope.  God hears you and loves those folks even more than you do!

This cup most accurately depicts how I'm feeling this morning.  I'm pretty darn tired and although I haven't looked yet, the weight of the bags under my eyes are whats' holding them open!

Hello Grammyluv,

AMEN SISTER!

Prayer is never wasted, and all Christians should know that GOD loves to hear our prayers. HE obviously answers many prayers according to HIS Perfect Will and Perfect Time. We obviously don't understand all the ways of GOD, but HE has told us many things about HIM in HIS WORD. We can find out much more with a personal relationship that is day in and day out with CHRIST. We should also never forget that the HOLY SPIRIT of GOD lives in our hearts as a guide and comforter. These things should be near the top of the list when we give THANKS TO GOD! The TOP OF THE LIST IS JESUS CHRIST, THE CROSS, FORGIVENESS, AND PEACE WITH GOD! We should all know that GOD is MOST deserving of THANKS, PRAISE, and WORSHIP - even if HE never grants a single prayer request we make. However, HE does grant some of our prayer requests, and it's more than sufficient to know that HE grants PRAYER REQUESTS ACCORDING TO HIS WILL AND TIME! Only HE knows the best for HIS Children and everyone else involved in our lives. Our part is to trust HIM as our ONLY perfect and worthy SAVIOUR - CONFIDANT - LORD - KING - HEAD - FRIEND - and loving companion who will never leave or forsake us. ONLY HE IS PERFECT, HOLY, TRUTH, AND OUR ALL IN ALL!

Love In Christ,
Tom

Green and not just around the gills. That's not good. Do try to get a little bit of rest at least, sister. Don't want you down and out.

Brother Roger, I noticed that you haven't posted in sermons for kids in a while. Is it completed?
