Hello my Friends. I'm seeking prayer here today. I'm just not feeling well at all. I'm thinking the "move" really took it out of me. I missed two days of work last week and although I went to work today, I had to turn right around and leave. In fact one of my supervisors took one look at me and pulled the neck of her shirt up over her mouth and nose! (She's a real a crack up anyway!) I was supposed to have my two youngest grandkids overnight tomorrow and I'm going to have to miss that. I'm supposed to go to a concert on Friday night with my oldest daughter to see someone I have wanted to see for 5 years. So I'm really asking for some prayer. I feel just lousy. I'm normally pretty healthy and active and I don't think this is anything more than a nasty summer cold/flu thingy, but still pray that it passes and gets on it's way quickly! Thanks guys. I'm going back to bed. In Christ, Grammluv

Hello GrammyLuv, I'm sorry to hear about you feeling bad. You will be in my prayers. Take care of yourself and don't end up in the hospital. If you don't get to feeling better in a couple of days, please go ahead and call Dr. Moe, Dr. Larry, and Dr. Curley. They still make house calls, and you might even get to try "Abdul's Famous Cactus Remedy". Just thinking about that should make you feel better. (Small Print: is Grammy laughing?)

That episode was called Phony Express. My brother has that one on DVD. "Abdul's Cactus Remedy" even grows hair (but watch out, it may make you act like Curly).

You guys crack me up. It is a known fact that if you survey a man and a woman about the Three Stooges, one of them is going to think they are hilarious! Note: It won't be the woman. ...but since I love you guys....this one's for you!

I try to read a Proverb a day and just go around every month. Well this morning after reading Proverb 13 I laid my Bible aside and when I came back to it (on my deck!) the pages had turned to Amos 5:21, or at least that is where my eyes rested. So I read from there through the end of Chapter 6. Wow! Was it powerful for these end times! God really uses some strong language in those passages. So if anyone is of a mind to read that today, I would encourage you and share with me if it struck you as powerful as it did me this morning. God Bless! Yvette

History does have a way of repeating itself. Mankind does not learn from those that came before them.

I think that Bible history is fascinating. I've been sick the last several days and haven't felt like doing much, but I did do some Bible Study. Pastor Roger made a fascinating post the other day that addressed Old Testament Prophecy fulfilled in the New Testament. It even gave New Testament comparisons and mainly dealt with the life, ministry, and crucifixion of CHRIST. We should know there is a big reason for EVERYTHING recorded in the Holy Bible. There is MUCH that is already PROVEN TRUTH beyond any reasonable doubt, so it's only reasonable to believe that the rest of Prophecy yet to be fulfilled is also complete TRUTH! GrammyLuv, I haven't read Amos recently, but your comments have convinced me that it's time again. It's more than fascinating to see how the Bible is woven together. That is so true. And no matter how many times one reads it, it never gets old. In fact there is always something new!
