Always the trouble maker huh sister.......................   It's fun especially when you're right.  Sister, I did some more looking on this subject. You may not need this information now but I thought it interesting anyway. The Jerusalem area is only referred to as the Holy Land once in the Bible but Jerusalem is called the Holy City 10 different times. The first is: Neh 11:1 And the rulers of the people dwelt at Jerusalem: the rest of the people also cast lots, to bring one of ten to dwell in Jerusalem the holy city, and nine parts to dwell in other cities. Israel is also called the divine gift in the Old Testament and in the Jerusalem Talmud. |
