31606  Theology / Prophecy - Current Events / The United Nations on: March 30, 2004, 03:28:23 AM
I am not sure this is where this should go.

Less than 20 years after the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) was founded, World War II had arrived and once that war was over, America was ready to join "the League of Nations."
America sat down in San Francisco with Alger Hiss and joined the United Nations, the successor to the League of Nations - Alger Hiss, a charter member of the CFR; Alger Hiss, whose sympathy with communism can no longer be denied. The UN charter and constitution is a thin paraphrasing of the Soviet model which Alger Hiss borrowed from when he coauthored it. The U.N. constitution is therefore a Marxist socialist paradigm.
The United Nations' 18 acres of prime Manhattan land was donated by the Rockefeller family (the CFR's chairman is David Rockefeller).

World regionalism is spelled out clearly in the U.N. Charter, Chapters 8 through 11, using such terms as "regional arrangements, intergovernmental agreements, and metropolital areas." Advocates of one-world socialism have already divided the world into 85 regions for policing purposes. In adopting the U.N. Charter, Congress has established the Charter as the Supreme Law of the land (Fugi v. State of California, 1950-52).
By Executive Decree No. 11647 on March 27, 1969 President Nixon announced the United States was divided into 10 Federal regions, each controlled by an appointed bureaucrat for the stated purpose of improving coordination of the activities of all levels of government. The goal of regional or metropolitan government is to eventually merge the U.S. into the "New World Order" - a one world socialist state under the United Nations. The 10 federal regions will be empowered to control all forms of regionalism within the U.S.. Regional divisions supplementing the 10 federal regions include state subregions, federal reserve regions, population regions, and regions to control the land, water and natural resources of America. On February 12, 1972 President Nixon issued Executive Order 11647 which authorized the staffing of the 10 regional governments. Regional government is a plan to eventually control all facets of our lives. Executive Order 11490 assigns numerous emergency preparedness functions to federal departments.

American Philosophy vs. the New World Order Conspiracy

Financing of regional governments is acquired through Federal Revenue sharing. Revenue sharing is a mechanism whereby the state and local governments become financially dependent upon the federal government. Pressure can then be applied to any level of state government that refuses to comply with the dictates of the regional government rulers. All but 1 of the 10 federal regional capitals is either a Federal Reserve Bank or branch bank city.

The following are just some of the policies of the United Nations:
1. Control of all zoning matters in the United States and the control of our national parks, rivers and historical sites.
2. Control over whether women are allowed to have babies.
3. Control over the economic and judicial policies of all nations.
4. Programs are being processed to create a tax on citizens of the United States as a permanent method of UN funding.
5. The United Nation has its own Army and United States soldiers must swear allegiance to this foreign government. Remember Michael New.

This is the "One World Government" that Strobe Talbot and Bill Clinton has been promoting. This is a "government" that allows as members terrorist states, ethnic cleansers like China (remember Tibet) and nations that allow slavery (Sudan) as members.
The U.S. Senate overwhelmingly approved a bill recently authorizing the payment of more than $800 million in back dues to the United Nations.
We are in the midst of a propaganda campaign desired to scare us and encourage us to see things the way The Order sees them. Since another great depression and financial crisis is almost certain, the nations should move now to organize themselves into a One World Economic Order to insure that even though such a calamity may occur, there will be "a reconstitution of a meaningful international monetary system.

31608  Theology / Debate / Re:'The Lord's Prayer': Version vs. Version on: March 30, 2004, 01:15:43 AM
Although this is commonly called ‘The Lord’s Prayer’, it should be called “The Disciple’s Prayer”, since it is how the disciples were instructed by Jesus to pray.  However, that’s not my point.  Please compare the two versions below:

Mat. 6:9-13 (KJV)
After this manner therefore pray ye:
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

Mat. 6:9-13 (NIV)
"This, then, is how you should pray:
" 'Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.

Notice something missing?  I’ve always been taught to begin and end all prayer with worship, and to always close my prayer (Amen!).  Why does the NIV leave out the final line of worship as well as the closure?  Can someone help me out here?

(FYI, Along the KJV, the AMP, NKJV, NASB and NLV all have the ending worship and closure.  But as the NIV, the NLT does not.)

Amen.

This is the prayer I know.
31609  Theology / Debate / Re:Abortion: Right or Wrong? on: March 30, 2004, 01:13:34 AM
I know I am more then likely to say this but.
Abortion is murdering a innocent human being created in Gods image. It has been proven that the unborn are alive, and moving in the womb of the woman.
31610  Theology / Prophecy - Current Events / Temple Mount News on: March 30, 2004, 01:07:29 AM
Various groups continue to push Jerusalem even closer to its foretold role in the End Times. Private efforts are underway to not only rebuild the temple but to restore Israel to its original borders. Even more ominous, new plans for a Palestinian peace settlement may even herald the arrival of the Antichrist.
Standing today in what Jews believe is the historical location of the first two, is the Al-Aqsa Mosque  - the third holiest site in Islam . To recognize it as the only possible rebuilt Temple, or to even seriously attempt to tear it down to replace it, both constitute seemingly unresolvable religious and thus political problems. Nonetheless, the idea of rebuilding some Temple somewhere is difficult to abandon entirely:
For the last 1900 years, Jews have prayed that God would allow for the rebuilding of the Temple. This prayer is a formal part of the thrice daily Jewish prayer services.
However, not all rabbis  agree on what would happen in a rebuilt Temple. It has traditionally just been assumed that some sort of animal sacrifices would be reinstituted, in accord with the rules in Leviticus  and the Talmud . However there is another opinion, beginning with Maimonides , that God  deliberately has moved Jews away from sacrifices towards prayer, as prayer is a higher form of worship. Thus, some rabbis hold that sacrifices would not take place in a rebuilt Temple. Rabbi Abraham Isaac Kook , the first chief rabbi of the Jewish community in pre-state Israel , holds that sacrifices will not be reinstituted.
A few very small Jewish groups today support constructing a Third Temple today, but most Jews oppose this, for a variety of reasons. Most religious Jews feel that the Temple should only be rebuilt in the messianic era, and that it would presumptuous of people to force God's hand, as it were. Further, there are many ritual impurity constrictions that are difficult to resolve, making the building's construction a practical impossibility.
Additionally, many Jews are against rebuilding the Temple due to the enormously hostile reaction from all Arab and Muslim nations that would likely result - even were the building to be complementary to those holy to Islam , there would be high suspicion that such a building project would ultimately end with the destruction of these and the rebuilding of the Temple on its original spot.
Some fundamentalist and evangelical Christian  groups, especially those who follow a dispensationalist  theology, believe that the Jewish people will build the Third Temple shortly before, or perhaps after, "true" Christians have been raptured

As you know my brothers and sisters, Jerusalem temple must be rebuilt to fulfill prophecy.

Brothers and sisters, I would like to hear your input please.

In my opinion Uri Geller is just a wanna be False Prophet.
He is almost as bad as Rabbi Chaim Richman, who says, "The reason why Jews like myself do not accept Jesus as the messiah is a very basic one - we do not see that he fulfilled any of the requirements for the job. If he never qualified, it is not even a question of rejection. G-d (His saying not mine) outlined these requirements in the Bible. The identity of the messiah is not up to you or me; it is up to his performance to prove"

Talk about a bad man  Cry
I hope and pray that these Jews see that God loves them and that, They learn Jesus is the messiah  Grin

It depends whose hands it's in.

A baseball in my hands is worth about $6.
A baseball in Mark McGwire's hands is worth $19 million.
It depends whose hands it's in.

A tennis racket is useless in my hands.
A tennis racket in Venue Williams' hands is a Championship Winning.
It depends whose hands it's in.

A rod in my hands will keep away a wild animal.
A rod in Moses' hands will part the mighty sea.
It depends whose hands it's in.

A sling shot in my hands is a kid's toy
A sling shot in David's hand is a mighty weapon.
It depends whose hands it's in.

Two fish and 5 loaves of bread in my hands is a couple of fish sandwiches.
Two fish and 5 loaves of bread in God's hands will feed thousands.
It depends whose hands it's in.

Nails in my hands might produce a birdhouse
Nails in Jesus Christ's hands will produce salvation for the entire world.
It depends whose hands it's in.

As you see now it depends whose hands it's in.
So put your concerns, your worries, your fears, your hopes, your dreams, your families and your relationships in God's hands because...
