Who makes the Rules

The female makes the rules. The female is never wrong.

The rules are subject to change by the female at any time without prior notification

No male can possibly know all the rules. Attempts to document the rules are not permitted

If the female suspects that the male may know some or all of the rules, she has the right to immediately change some or all of the rules.

If the female is wrong, it is because of an egregarious misunderstanding which was the direct result of vagrant misunderstanding which was a direct result of something the male said or did wrong.

The male must must always apologize immediately for having been the cause of the misunderstanding without any clues from the female as to what he did to have caused the misunderstanding. See above rule.

The female may change her mind at any time for any reason or no reason at all

The male is never permitted to change his mind or under circumstances without the express written consent of the female which is given only in cases where the female wanted him to change his mind but gave no indication of that wish

The female has the right to be upset for any reason, real or imagined, at any time and under any circumstance which in her sole judgement she deems appropriate. The male is not to be given any sign of the root cause of the female's being  upset. The female may, however, give  reasons like "you mean you dont know?" to see if the male is paying attention

The male must remain calm at all times, unless the female wants him to be  upset. Under no circumstances may the female give the male any clue or indication whether or why she wants him to be upset

The male is expected to read the mind of the female at all times. Failure to do so will result in  penalties imposed at the sole discretion of the female

The female may, at any time and for any reason, resurrect any past incident without regard to temporal or spacial distance, and modify,  embellish, or wholly reconstruct it in order to demonstrate to the male that he is now or has in the past been wrong, insensitive, hard-headed, dense,  and/or oafish

The female may use her interpretation of any past occurrence to illustrate the ways in which the male has failed to accord her the consideration, respect, devotion, or material possessions, he has bestowed on others, domestic pets or barnyard animals, sports teams, automobiles, motorcycles, boats, aircraft, or coworkers. Such illustrations are non-rebuttable

If the female is experiencing PMS, Post-PMS, or Pre-PMS, the female is permitted to exhibit any manner of behavior she wishes without regard to logical consistency or accepted norms of human behavior

Any act, deed, word, expression, statement, utterance, thought, opinion, or belief by the male is subject to the sole, subjective interpretation of the female, other external factors not-withstanding. Alibis, excuses, explanations, defenses, reasons, extenuations, or rationalizations will not be entertained. Begging the female for mercy and forgiveness are acceptable under some circumstances, especially when accompanied by tangible evidence of contrition.

PLEASE NOTE: These rules are subject to change as the female sees fit. All rules are null and void under the PMS Exception Law. New rules apply during different stages of a women's life.

One day, three men were walking along, and came to a raging, violent river. They needed to get to the other side, but had no way of crossing the river.

The first man prayed to God saying, "Please God, give me the strength, courage, and ability to cross this river." Poof! God gave him big arms and strong legs, and he was able to swim across the river in about two hours.

Seeing this, the second man prayed to God saying, "Please God, give me the strength, courage, and ability to cross this river." Poof! God gave him a row boat, and he was able to row across the river in about three hours.

The third man had seen how this had worked out for the other two, so he also prayed to God saying, "Please God, give me the strength, courage, and knowledge to cross this river." And poof! God turned him into a woman and he walked across the bridge.

 ;D

Title: Invation of the Men
Post by: Tibby on March 10, 2004, 12:50:43 PM
One day, a man was reading his bible. He read how Solomen Asked for wisdom, and got it. So, the man asked God if he would answer a single requst one. God Appeared in the room, and said ok, and asked him what does he want. The man didn't expect God to actually reply, and he really didn't know what he wanted. God said he would give him a day to think over what we wants.

The man thought about wisdom, and wealth, and enternal youth. It came time to deside, and he was faced with 2 that he couldn't pick from. God appeared to him, and ask him what he wanted. The man said he isn't sure. Part of him wants to have God build a bridge to Hawaii, because he is scared of boats AND planes, but really wants to visit Hawaii. The other part of him wanted to understand women. So, God gave him another day to deside.

The next day, god appeared to him, and asks if he picked one. The Man said he did, and told God we wanted to understand women. God paused for a second, then replied...

"Would you like a 2 lane, or 4?"

 ;D ;D I still love you, girls, don't worry ;D

Is it because women are hard to understand? Or.... could it be..... that men are just not smart enough?  ;D

But that's okay, Tibby. As long as there are heavy things to be lifted; men will always have a place with women!  ;D

What is the similarity between a dolphin and a man?
They are both said to be intelligent, but no one can prove this.

Why can't a man be both good-looking and intelligent?
Because that would make him a woman.

Why is the male intelligence worth more than the female?
It is rarer.

What do you call an attractive intelligent and sensitive man?
A rumour.

Why don't men go through menopause?
They never left puberty.   ;D

The Truth About Men
by Tracy Bird

We don't like to go out shoppin
We don't care what's on sale
We just wanna to sit with a bag full of chips watchin the NFL

When you come over at half time
And say does this dress fit to tight
We just look you in the eye with a big fat lie
And say "uh uh fits just right"

Well that's the truth about men
That's the truth about us
We like to hunt and golf on our days off
And scratch and spit and cuss
No matter what line we hand ya when we come draggin in
We ain't wrong, we ain't sorry
And it's probably happen again

We hate watchin steal magnolias
We like Rambo and die hard 4
Jump up and down like fools
When we see the new tools
At the Home Depot store
We don't really want to take you to dinner
At some fancy resturant
The only reason we do is cause it all leads to the one thing that we all want

Well that's the truth about men
That's the truth about guys
We'd rather pick gituars and work on cars
Than work on the problems in our lives
And though we say it to ya every now and then
We ain't wrong, we ain't sorry
And it's probably gonna happen again

Well if you wanna know what we're all thinkin
It's nothin to complex
It's just something cold for drinkin
And a whole lot of S.E.S.

That's the truth about men
That's the truth about us
We like to hunt and golf and drive around lost
And scratch and spit and a whole lot of other disgusting stuff
It don't matter what line we give you
When we come crawlin in
We ain't wrong, we ain't sorry
And it's probably gonna happen again
We ain't wrong, we ain't sorry
And it's probably gonna happen
Sure it's gonna happen
Ya know it's gonna happen again

Since Tibby is still pouting, I thought I'd post another country song to help him understand..... ;D DISCLAIMER: I am in no way promoting drinking!  ;)

Guys Do It All The Time
(sung by: Mindy McCready)
(written by: Bobby Whiteside/Kim Tribble)

Got in this morning at 4 a.m.
You're as mad as you can be
Well I was drinking and talking and you know how that goes
Time just slipped away from me
By the time I knew what time it was
It was too late to call home
Stop carrying on acting like a child
I wasn't doing anything wrong

Guys do it all the time
And you expect us to understand
When the shoe's on the other foot
You know that's when it hits the fan
Get over it, honey, life's a two way street
Or you won't be a man of mine
So I had some beers with the girls last night
Guys do it all the time

I know I left my clothes all over the place
And I took your twenty bucks
No I didn't get the front yard cut
'Cause I had to wash my truck
Will you bring me a cold one, baby
And turn on the TV
We'll talk about this later
There's a ball game I wanna see

Guys do it all the time
And you expect us to understand
When the shoe's on the other foot
You know that's when it hits the fan
Get over it, honey, life's a two way street
Or you won't be a man of mine
So I had some beers with the girls last night
Guys do it all the time

You look like you just took a long look in the mirror
Tell me baby if things don't look a whole lot clearer

Get over it, honey, life's a two way street
Or you won't be a man of mine
So I had some beers with the girls last night
Guys do it all the time

Yeah, guys do it
Yeah, guys do it
All the time, all the time
Yeah, guys do it

Will you bring me a cold one, baby
And turn on the TV

There's a ball game I wanna see

Whats wrong with that? ;D ;D ;D 8)

Marriage Lessons

On their 50th wedding anniversary and during the banquet celebrating it, Jane was asked to give her friends a brief account of how to make  a marriage last for such a long duration.

"Tell us Jane, just what is it you have learned from all those wonderful years with your husband?"

Jane responds, "Well, I've learned that marriage is the best teacher of all. It teaches you extreme tolerance, self-restraint, and all about mercy and grace, if you use these talents skillfully, after several years you will even recieve the amazing ability to  make the deaf hear, the dumb to speak....

:D

A WIDOWER who was about to be remarried was busy cleaning up his kitchen when one of his friends dropped in.

"Boy, you're working hard," remarked his friend.  "What gives?"  "Well," replied the soon-to-be-married fellow, "this kitchen is going under new management on Monday and I want to have it in good order."

A week after the wedding, his friend arrived for dinner and inquired about the new "manager."  "Was your wife impressed with your efforts?" he asked.  "She sure was," replied the newlywed. "She's hired the old staff to carry on as usual."

Kurt and his wife Melissa often take car trips from the U.S. to
Canada. One holiday season they were stopped at the border,
where the guard asked Kurt the value of any goods they would be taking back with them. Kurt paused to think of the value of everything they had acquired on their trip.

"Never mind," the guard said, "what's the most expensive thing in your car?"

Without hesitation, Kurt replied, "My wife."

A Real "Bad Hair" Day..........

"What happened to you?" asked the bystander of the man
lying on the sidewalk outside of the beauty parlor.

The man shook his head groggily and rubbed his bruised chin.
"Well, the last thing I remember was my wife coming out of the beauty salon. I took one look at her and said,
'Well, Honey, ... at least you tried.'"

Why did God make Mother's.....as told by 7-8 year olds

Why did God make mothers?
 1. She's the only one who knows where the scotch tape is.
 2. Think about it, it was the best way to get more people.
 3. Mostly to clean the house.
 4. To help us out of there when we were getting born.

How did God make mothers?
 1. He used dirt, just like for the rest of us.
 2. Magic plus super powers and a lot of stirring.
 3. God made my mom just the same like he made me. He just used bigger parts.

What ingredients are mothers made of?
 1. God makes mothers out of clouds and angel hair and everything nice in the world and one dab of mean.
 2. They had to get their start from men's bones. Then they mostly use string. I think.

What kind of little girl was your mom?
 1. My mom has always been my mom and none of that other stuff.
 2. I don't know because I wasn't there, but probably pretty bossy.
 3. They say she used to be nice.

How did your mom meet your dad?
 1. Mom was working in a store and dad was shoplifting.

What did mom need to know about dad before she married him?
 1. His last name.
 2. She had to know his background. Like is he a crook? Does he get drunk on beer? Does he make at least $800 a year? Did he say NO to drugs and YES to chores.

Why did your mom marry your dad?
 1. My dad makes the best spaghetti in the world. And my mom eats a lot.
 2. She got too old to do anything else with him.
 3. My grandma says that mom didn't have her thinking cap on.
Who's the boss at your house?
 1. Mom doesn't want to be boss, but she has to because dads such a goofball.
2. Mom. You can tell by room inspection. She sees the stuff under the bed.
 3. I guess Mom is, but only because she has a lot more to do than dad.

What's the difference between moms and dads?
 1. Moms work at work and work at home, and dads just got to work at work.
 2. Moms know how to talk to teachers without scaring them.
 3. Dads are taller and stronger, but moms have all the real power 'cause that's who you gotta ask if you want to sleep over at your friend's.

What does your mom do in her spare time?
 1. Mothers don't do spare time.
 2. To hear her tell it, she pays bills all day long.

What's the difference between moms and grandmas?
 1. I think around 30 years.
 2. You can always count on grandmothers for candy. Sometimes moms don't even have bread on them!

Fairy Godmother.....

A Fairy Godmother told a married couple: "For being such an
exemplary married couple for 35 years, I will give you each a
wish."

"I want to travel around the world with my dearest husband"
said the wife. The Fairy moved her magic stick and abracadabra! two tickets appeared in her hands.

Now it was the husband's turn. He thought for a moment and
said: "Well this moment is very romantic, but an opportunity
like this only occurs once in a lifetime. So.....I'm sorry my love, but my wish is to have a wife 30 years younger than me."

The wife was deeply disappointed, but a wish was a wish. The Fairy made a circle with her magic stick and.....abracadabra!...
Suddenly the husband was 90 years old.

Reminder: Fairies are Female!

I was praying that his house would be cleaner than a cheap dingy restaurant when he refered to it being as clean as a restaurant.

It was all in fun.   8)

"ummmm What's is a greasy spoon type anyhow?!  ???"

"Main Entry: greasy spoon
Function: noun
: a dingy small cheap restaurant"***

*** "Merriam Websters Online Dictionary"

I was praying that his house would be cleaner than a cheap dingy restaurant when he refered to it being as clean as a restaurant.

It was all in fun.   8)

In the beginning, God created the earth and rested. Then God created Man and rested. Then God created Woman. Since then, neither God nor Man has rested.

(A joke my daughter sent me that I just had to post for the nice ladies here. Please read the entire joke before you think about tearing my head off.)

Dear Friends,

It is important for men to remember that as women grow older, it becomes harder for them to maintain the same quality of housekeeping  as they did when they were younger.

When men notice this, they should try not to yell. Let me relate how my retiree, Bob, handled the situation.

Bob explains... "When I got laid off from my consulting job and took "early retirement" in April, it became necessary for my wife, Nancy,  to get a full-time job, both for extra income and for health benefits that we need. It was shortly after she started working that I noticed that she was beginning to show her age.

I usually get home from fishing or hunting about the same time she gets home from work. Although she knows how hungry I am, she almost always says that she has to rest for half an hour or so before she starts supper. I try not to yell. Instead, I tell her to take her time and just wake me when she finally does get supper on the table.

She used to do the dishes as soon as we finished eating. It is now not unusual for them to sit on the table for several hours after supper. I do what I can by reminding her several times each evening that they aren't cleaning themselves. I know she appreciates this, as it does seem to help her get them done before she goes to bed.

Now that she is older, she seems to get tired so much more quickly.  Our washer and dryer are in the basement. Sometimes she says she just can't make another trip down those steps. I don't make a big issue of this. As long as she finishes up the laundry the next evening I am willing to overlook it.

Not only that, but unless I need something ironed to wear to the Monday lodge meeting or to Wednesday's or Saturday's poker club or to Tuesday's or Thursday's bowling or something like that, I will tell her to wait until the next evening to do the ironing.  This gives her little more time to do some of those odds and ends things like shampooing the dog, vacuuming or dusting. Also, if I have had a really good day fishing, this allows her to gut and scale the fish at a more leisurely pace.

Nancy is starting to complain a little occasionally. For example, she will say that it is difficult for her to find time to pay the monthly bills during her lunch hour. In spite of her complaining, I continue to try to
offer encouragement. I tell her to stretch it out over two or even three days. That way she won't have to rush so much. I also remind her that missing lunch completely now and then wouldn't hurt her any,
if you know what I mean.

When doing simple jobs she seems to think she needs more rest periods. She had to take a break when she was only half finished mowing the  yard. I try not to embarrass her when she needs these little extra rest breaks. I  tell her to fix herself a nice, big, cold glass of freshly squeezed lemonade and
just sit for a while. I tell her that as long as she is making one for herself, she may as well make one for me and take her break by the hammock so she can talk with me until I fall asleep.

I know that I probably look like a saint in the way I support Nancy on a daily basis. I'm not saying that the ability to show this much consideration is easy. Many men will find it difficult. Some will find it impossible. No one knows better than I do how frustrating  women can become as they get older.

However, guys, even if you just yell at your wife a little less often because of this article, I will consider that writing it was worthwhile."

Bob's funeral was on Saturday, January, 25th, Nancy was acquitted Monday, January, 27th.

just sit for a while.

I just love a happy ending!  ;D

I try not to embarrass her when she needs these little extra rest breaks. I  tell her to fix herself a nice, big, cold glass of freshly squeezed lemonade and

Men are always whining about how us women are suffocating them. Personally, I think if you can hear them whining, the noose is too loose!  ;D

Shylynne,

;D   ;D  My wife talks and I listen. I only whine when I know that I'm in trouble with her.   ;D

She usually just sends me to my room when I'm in trouble, but that's where I wanted to be anyway. Please don't tell her.   ;D
