I'm off to take an old-guy nap, so I'll holler at everyone later. GRIN every chance you get - it will make folks wonder what you've been up to.

Good morning Sister Maria and everyone! I have my coffee, but all I've gotten to do so far is look at it. HOT - but there's a sip. "The Son of God became a man to enable men to become sons of God."

Hello Everyone,
Yes, I am having a cup of coffee and watching news for the area where I live. I'm giving thanks right now that fires haven't gotten close enough to my house that we have to evacuate. We have 7 large wild fires close to our city - none being under control at the time. Things have been dry here and we have wind gusts to between 50 to 70 mph - almost like a thunderstorm but dry and without the rain. Some of the fires have been started by power lines breaking, and things are a mess in this part of the state. At this moment, we do have 900 homes in our city where there have been mandatory evacuations. So far, we have been safe by a mile or more because of the wind direction, and we have nothing but thanks. Firefighters from all over this part of the state are on scene, and there are no deaths or serious injuries that have been reported so far. I would appreciate it if you would keep us in your prayers. Weather forecasts indicate that the wind speeds might die down by tomorrow and give the fire crews a chance to get things under control.

Good Morning, Good Morning, Good Morning! I couldn't sleep past 4AM today so here I am with my coffee in hand and planning to beat everyone else to the laundry room here in about a half hour. Going to get my apt cleaned up and might even run my car through the car wash and give it a good vacuuming out! I'm not planning on company tomorrow, but these things need to be done anyway and it is spring! (As in Spring Cleaning!)

Sunshine in Seattle and the whole day before me.

I don't have my coffee yet, so my eyes aren't completely open, but I'm working on it. In fact, I'm about to fire up the coffee pot. I hope that everyone has a great weekend. We have a chance for rain this weekend, and we're praying that we do. Our greatest chance is for tonight and Sunday. In the meantime - KEEP LOOKING UP! (Small Print: spring cleaning sounds like a lot of work - I'm going to procrastinate.)

(Small Print: spring cleaning sounds like a lot of work - I'm going to procrastinate.) Well being the clean freak that I am, and living in a one bedroom apt. , it doesn't take much for me to get it all done. I just like it to sound like it does!
