Still busy with projects and life changes, but trying to get in now and then to say hi.

Hello Rookie and Everyone,

I'm glad to hear that you are still in one piece. I can't work much with tools these days, but I remember when I did. I rarely ever finished a project of any kind without some sort of injury.      It got to the point that I found first-aid items before I even started. It got so bad that my wife made fun of me, and she didn't want me around power tools and high voltage.      Now I have a battery operated keyboard and mouse on my computer, so it's fairly safe.

Brothers, this reminds me of a name my sister had for me, she used to say to me you are so surprising, "you're like a a high bouncing rubber ball, no matter what happens to you you just bounce up even higher than you were". Brothers I believe that is not me I believe that is the Holy Spirit in me. Jesus just won't let me stay down!!!

Well after getting 2 roofs done..........I am back to working on the jeep

anyhow......Good morning brothers and sisters.....aside from a banged up knee (thanks to the jeep) I am in good health and spirits.

I think the desision to sell off all the "stuff" was the right one. I feel my stress level draining off all the time and a bit more clarity of thought prevailing.

Sipping a cup and waiting for the temp to come up a bit so I can get out and back to work.

I do have my coffee. Brother Gary, if I had just done all you did, I would be typing my email from the hospital and telling you how much more my medical bills are as opposed to what it would have cost for me to hire the jobs done.

Bless his heart, my old family doctor has gone home to be with the LORD. He used to see me pretty often for injuries of various kinds on the police department. In fact, there was a time that he saw me so often that he started laughing each time and asked what he needed to sew back on.      But, I must admit that I needed medical treatment numerous times for doing fix-it jobs around the house.

Your low number of injuries indicate you did pretty good.

Well brother, fortunately for me, I have enough ambition, but not alot of money

I am selling the house and the other rental, so I can spend more time helping other people with thier home problems that have niether money or ability.

I enjoy helping people so.......as long as the body can take it, I'm going to do it.
