DW

I have the case and a box to put it in. I have to find my bubble wrap and get it sent Roll Eyes

Sorry this is taking so long.......I've been a bit out of sorts lately........procrastination is an unfortunate byproduct of the out of sorts.

I'll put it in the middle of the kitchen floor tonight so I have to either get it boxed up or continue to trip over it. Grin

Brother no problem,  as I'm getting ready to head down to Phoenix.

now both my hands are swollen, I was bringing in my plants to keep them from becoming projectiles during the storm and I had no idea that underneath one of them was a massive fire ant colony. I picked the plant up and the next thing I knew, I had like 20 ant bites.....OUCH!!

Rook, I am allergic to fire ant bites, I had to take bendadryl, and I also have a prescription from the last time I got bet, it's old but it still helped, the sewlling has gone down some but I have to keep applying anti-itch cream.

Well we have good new Ernesto is just a tropical storm now, it's already raining hard and it will be all day, we expect about 3-4 inches of rain, and winds will probably be about 40 MPH. So far we aren't having winds where I am. The schools are closed and it's very dark outside.

Least we have time to prepare for hurricanes or leave town, but wit tornados and earthquakes you have no warning.

I'm in the middle of tornado alley and we usually get a lot of them here. It has been a very mild season for both tornadoes and hurricanes. I thank the good lord that it has been such. We have had plenty of rain though and the farmers had some good crops here this year.

Yep very little if any warning. No time to put up anything on the windows or to lay up supplies. We have to make sure that we have all that necessary stuff all the time. The house I'm in has windows that are supposedly storm proof for winds up to 150 MPH winds. That helps some.

You know what's bad about tornados in Florida? The houses don't have basements or cellars, we just have to run to the safest place in the house with no window usually a closet. That's a great place the Prayer Closet.
The tornados here I don't think are nearly half as bad as where you are. There have been many devastating tornandos in tornado ally.
We also get a LOT of lightning strikes.

Grin   Toto, are we still in Kansas?

I had to do this. The tornado is just a fact of life in this part of the country, but I would much rather deal with a tornado than a hurricane. A tornado is over pretty quickly and they usually involve much smaller hazard and damage areas.

We also had a very mild season in Oklahoma, but that also meant that we got very little rain. So, our farmers are hurting and record numbers have lost their farms. I know that we would have been happy to put up with the weather to get the needed rain.
