‘No Muslims from Bareilly support BJP’: Anti-triple talaq activist Nida Khan threatened with death for not quitting BJP, husband, family booked

On March 31, Thursday, the Uttar Pradesh police booked six people for issuing death threats to the Bareilly triple talaq victim Nida Khan. Those booked include her husband Sheeran Raza Khan, who had ‘divorced’ her through instant triple talaq, and other family members.

According to reports, Khan claimed that her husband and his family members had threatened her with death if she did not quit the BJP.

Nida Khan, the triple talaq crusader, is a member of the minority cell of the Bhartiya Janata Party. She had campaigned for the BJP in the recently-held Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls.

New Delhi, Apr 01: The government's decision to ban the Zakir Naik run Islamic Research Foundation was upheld by a tribunal under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. The tribunal confirmed the government's order dated November 15 2021

The tribunal said the there is enough reason for declaring the IRF as an unlawful association and banned it for five years. The Ministry of Home Affairs had in its order said that the speeches of Naik were objectionable in nature and he had been extolling known terrorists apart from stating that every Muslim should be a terrorist.

Amid terror wave in Israel, New York BDS group calls to ‘globalize intifada’ at rally

Amid the ongoing terror wave that has killed nearly a dozen Israelis in the past week, a pro-BDS group in New York City held a rally in front of the offices of the Friends of the Israel Defense Forces (FIDF) on Wednesday urging to “globalize the intifada.”

During the event, the leader of the group Nerdeen Kiswani, who heads the group Within Our Lifetime (WOL), led the chant ­from New York to Palestine, globalize the intifada,” in what can be perceived as a call to conduct acts of terror against Israelis or Jews in other places around the world.

Top grammar school suspends teacher after a photograph emerged of him holding a mug bearing an image of the Prophet Muhammad

A teacher at a top grammar school has been suspended after allegedly using a mug with an image depicting the Prophet Muhammad.

The staff member is said to have been photographed carrying the item in the playground at Colchester Royal Grammar School in Essex.

The white mug appears to feature a cartoon of Jesus Christ and the Prophet Muhammad.

Sarawak party slams PAS’ proposal for Muslim-only PM law

KUCHING, March 31 — Parti Bansa Dayak Sarawak (PBDS) Baru is alarmed that PAS is seeking a constitutional amendment to make it a prerequisite for the prime minister to be a Muslim, said its information chief Andrew Bugie.

In a statement yesterday, Andrew said PBDS joins the chorus of criticisms against the proposal made by PAS senator and information chief Khairil Nizam Khirudin, as this would deny the rights of non-Muslim Malaysians.

ISIS Weekly: Hadera Attack Was Message of Allegiance to the New Caliph

The ISIS weekly publication A-Naba’ published a centerfold article overnight Friday titled, “Our campaign against the Jews – a pure Islamic campaign” in which it was clarified that the organization spares no effort to kill Jews and to recruit units that strive for this goal, Kan 11 commentator Roi Kais reported, citing the article’s declaration: “The Jews know this and are hiding a lot more than they’re saying.”

The article criticized the “Palestinian factions that receive funding from Iran” who tried to claim that the attack was carried out for purely nationalistic motives. It also suggests there are those who try to keep Islam out of the battle against the Jews and place it in “dirty national contexts to escape the ‘toll of faith."

The background behind Cerantonio renouncing Islam and reporting it to the author of the article has been detailed in an article published in The Atlantic.

Cerantonio turned to Islam at the age of 17 after being born Robert Cerantonio into an Irish-Catholic family. According to Philippine authorities, Cerantonio travelled to the Philippines in 2013 and used YouTube to advocate for jihad and celebrate the Islamic States of Iraq and Syria (ISIS). He was deported in July 2014 following his actions.

Islam expert contradicts Islam trivialising Muslim Social Democratic politician

The Islam expert Prof. Susanne Schröter (Frankfurt on the Main) has contradicted statements made by the Social Democratic Party (SPD) politician Sawsan Chebli (Berlin). The Muslim woman had posted a video on Twitter showing girls in Afghanistan protesting for their right to education. The background is that the Taliban have forbidden girls from the seventh grade to attend school.

Chebli praised the girls’ courage and wrote about the ban: “This has nothing to do with Islam. Men want to keep women down and control them.” Prof. Schröter sees it differently. The exclusion of girls from further schooling in Afghanistan is justified exclusively on Islamic grounds, she said in response to a question from the Protestant news agency IDEA.

LGBT+ Pride flags could be confiscated at 2022 World Cup in Qatar

Football’s global governing body FIFA has faced severe backlash ever since it announced that the 2022 World Cup would be held in Qatar, where homosexuality is punished with up to seven years in prison, plus a fine. Muslims in the country, under Sharia law, can be punished with the death penalty.

Despite the persecution of LGBT+ people in Qatar, football officials in Qatar and in England have insisted that LGBT+ fans will be safe and “welcome”, and that Pride flags can be displayed.

Austria: Four Iranians and Afghans raped 16-year-old German girl in broad daylight for over an hour

It was hell that a girl apparently had to endure on Wednesday afternoon in a stairwell of the former mail distribution centre in Linz. Four young migrants (14 and 15 years old) allegedly attacked the 16-year-old girl and raped her for more than an hour. One of the suspects was still on the run on Thursday evening.

The hitherto sheltered life of the 16-year-old schoolgirl was deeply fractured on Wednesday and will probably never be fully repaired: humiliated, abused, molested and violated. Four young migrants allegedly brutally attacked the girl and raped her for more than an hour in a stairwell in the former mail distribution centre in Linz. The girl’s ordeal was only finally ended when police officers passing by heard cries for help.
The fact that the crime took place in broad daylight in the middle of Linz, not far from the police station and close to the registration office for Ukrainian refugees, shocked many Upper Austrians. However, this incident also illustrates the callousness of the four alleged perpetrators. Three of them have already been identified – a 14-year-old Iranian from Vöcklabruck, a 15-year-old Afghan from Amstetten and a 15-year-old Afghan from Linz. The origin, name and age of the fourth suspect were reportedly unknown for the time being. The police were feverishly searching for him.

Christian Police Officer Killed in Terror Attack Hailed an Israeli Hero

JERUSALEM, Israel – Amir Khoury, an Arab Christian police officer who was killed while thwarting a terror attack near Tel Aviv, was hailed a “hero” by hundreds of mourners who laid him to rest on Thursday.

Priests, friends, family members, and people who had never met him before gathered at Khoury’s hometown of Nof Hagalil, in Israel's north, to pay their respects. Khoury’s fellow officers carried his coffin, draped in an Israeli flag, to his final resting place inside the city’s military cemetery.

World Bank Suspends Projects After Taliban Reversal on Girls’ Education

Almost a month after approving $1 billion in funds to address urgent needs in Afghanistan, the World Bank has reportedly suspended four projects after the Taliban denied girls the right to attend school beyond the sixth grade.

International donors have struggled since the Taliban’s August 2021 takeover of Afghanistan to balance the needs of Afghans against concerns about inadvertently supporting (and funding) the Taliban.

On March 1, the World Bank announced a plan in which $1 billion from the Afghanistan Reconstruction Trust Fund (ARTF) would be routed through “recipient-executed grants” to various U.N. agencies and international NGOs to address the needs of desperate Afghans, without pumping money into the Taliban government.

The new president of the National Union of Students has come under fire for having a slogan used by Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood in her Twitter bio.

Shaima Dallali had 'death for the sake of Allah is our most exalted wish' promoted at the top of her page.

The City University activist had the sentence - which experts said is not in the Quran and is associated with the two groups - written in Arabic next to #Tunisia.

Palestinian Islamic Scholar Mraweh Nassar: The Jews Now Claim Biblical Jerusalem Is Located In Ukraine; They Instigated The War There In Order To Empty Out Ukraine And Move In

Palestinian Islamic scholar Mraweh Nassar, the Secretary-General of the Jerusalem Committee of the International Union of Muslims Scholars, said in a March 22, 2022 interview on the Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated Arabic-language Channel 9 (Turkey) that the war in Ukraine was instigated by the Jews in order to establish a Jewish state there to replace Israel. He explained that the Jews have been forsaken by America and the West, who have come to realize that the Zionist project is a failure that will come to an end within two years. He elaborated that the Israelis have thus realigned with Russia and China.

In addition, Nassar said that the Jews have been "convinced that Palestine cannot be the state for the Jews" and now claim that Ukraine is a Jewish state and that the Temple and biblical Jerusalem are, in fact, located there. Nassar also spoke about the "false Holocaust," saying that there weren't nearly as many Jews killed by the Germans as people claim. He also claimed that it was Jews who forsook the German Jews in WWII, much like they are forsaking Ukrainian Jews today.
