The only other person that i can see is Jerusha the daughter of Zadok?
So I don't know!
YLBD
1In the twenty and seventh year of Jeroboam king of Israel began Azariah son of Amaziah king of Judah to reign.

2 Sixteen years old was he when he began to reign, and he reigned two and fifty years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Jecholiah of Jerusalem.

3 And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father Amaziah had done;

4 Save that the high places were not removed: the people sacrificed and burnt incense still on the high places.

5 And the LORD smote the king, so that he was a leper unto the day of his death, and dwelt in a several house. And Jotham the king's son was over the house, judging the people of the land.

6 And the rest of the acts of Azariah, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

7 So Azariah slept with his fathers; and they buried him with his fathers in the city of David: and Jotham his son reigned in his stead.
-=-=-=-=-==-=-=-=-=-=-==-==-==-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Unless im missing something here: Azariah Died with Lepersy and was married to Jecholiah Huh
Was he married to Jerusha too?

Jecholiah was his mothers name. Jerusha was his wifes name.

32 In the second year of Pekah the son of Remaliah king of Israel began Jotham the son of Uzziah king of Judah to reign.

33 Five and twenty years old was he when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Jerusha, the daughter of Zadok.
was she married to Azariah too?
Azariah is the one who died with lepersy i thought?
Or am i still missing something?

2Ki 15:1  In the twenty and seventh year of Jeroboam king of Israel began Azariah son of Amaziah king of Judah to reign.
2Ki 15:2  Sixteen years old was he when he began to reign, and he reigned two and fifty years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Jecholiah of Jerusalem.

2Ki 15:32  In the second year of Pekah the son of Remaliah king of Israel began Jotham the son of Uzziah king of Judah to reign.
2Ki 15:33  Five and twenty years old was he when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Jerusha, the daughter of Zadok.

In verse 1 & 2 they are talking about Azariah starting his reign as king and his mother's name is Jecholiah.

In verse 32 & 33 it is Jotham starting his reign as king. His mothers name is Jerusha. Jotham's fathers name is Uzziah (which is also the same as Azariah). That makes Uzziah/Azariah's wife to be Jerusha.

Well that answers my ?'s, thank you pastor,

"was she married to Azariah too?"
"Azariah is the one who died with lepersy i thought?"
Their the same people Azariah/Uzziah...
OUGH BOY!
I can see that now that i read the whole chapter slowly,
This part helped me the most 15:30, Because i knew Aziariah was Jothams dad & in this verse he calls him Azariah/Uzziah...
thank you for the Clairity...

You're welcome. Uzziah is also mentioned in 2 CH 26 and the story is pretty much the same. We also see him in Matt 1:8 - 9 in the geneology of Joseph using the name of Ozias. This was a good one grammy. If I hadn't already known that Uzziah and Azariah were one and the same from prior Bible studies it would have caught me off kilter also.

It was a tough one!  Littleboy you were so close!  I saw what you had written when I got home from work but I was hungry and had fix me some dinner first.  I was just sitting down to type it all out only to find that Pastor Roger had already done it for me!  Thanks Pastor Roger!!
That chapter is a bit confusing not only because of the two names for Uzziah but also it flip flops back and forth about the king of Israel and the king of Judah.  A new person studying this would get confused with just that if they didn't know that the kingdom was separated.
Littleboy, you get a great big hug for your diligent effort.  You're amazing!

In Christ,
Grammyluv

I did this when I taught a Bible 101 class at my beloved mission about 4 years ago, where I will be working soon.  The women LOVED it so I thought it might be fun here!  At that time a bunch of Beanie Babies had been donated and I would hand em' out to the winners each week!  You all with just have to be happy with cyber hugs.  Grin

5.  Who had a vision of one angel running to meet another?
(Genesis, 1 Samuel, Zechariah)

Ok here goes:  Zachariah

Zechariah 2:3 & 4  And, behold, the angel that talked with me went forth, and another angel went out to meet him, and said unto him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein.

Hope this is complete enough.  I just love this.

Thanks and God Bless, Eva
