I get back to the topic heading. My handle came from a large great horned owl that lives on a island near my home. I frequently see him and his mate flying through the trees or sitting on a limb observing nature. I named him " Islandboy", as he often visits me when I am out in my yard and garden. If you read my posts you will discover that I was mistaken for a boy in my posts because I forgot to choose gender when filling in profile information.
I live in SW Florida, came here from Pennsylvania, over twenty years ago. But I still long for the mountains and rivers, and all my good friends. I enjoy this forum because there is a little bit of everything in the posts, and a whole lot of the writings and quotes of our Lord, in among all the topics of this forum.

My daughter's nick name is Twitterbug... and when she was really little and all her baby toys were all over the place and I would pick them up at the end of the day I would say I had to go around and pick up all the twitterbug dust... so ... I use that as a handle on alot of sights

Instead of waiting for the storm to pass... I have learned to dance in the rain, jump in mud puddles, and sing "Bulah Land" all at the same time ... it makes the enemy mad...
