Act 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
No man is excluded from calling upon God, the gate of salvation is set open unto all men: neither is there any other thing which keepeth us back from entering in, save only our own unbelief. John Calvin

Many teach today that only the part of Jesus' saving grace is the true gospel and that anything to do with sin or hell has nothing to do with it. Without the story and understanding of sin and hell there would be no need for the rest. So it is important that we understand what sin and hell is about and why it is so important that we tell others what they need saved from. Sin leads to death, not a temporary thing where a soul ceases to exist, but an eternal suffering of death.
God does not wish for anyone to suffer such a torment. He would have all men saved. It is up to though to take that step of faith in and through Him. Won't you come to Him today?

Lord, take my life and make it wholly Thine; Fill my poor heart with Thy great love divine. Take all my will, my passion, self and pride; I now surrender, Lord--in me abide. Orr

Reply implicitly upon the old, old gospel. You need no other nets when you fish for men; those your Master has given you are strong enough to hold the little ones. Spread these nets and no others, and you need not fear the fulfillment of His word, ‘I will make you fishers of men.’ [Charles Spurgeon]

We must never confuse our desire for people to accept the Gospel, with creating a Gospel that is acceptable to people.” – Oswald Chambers
"The gospel is neither a discussion or a debate. It is an announcement." - Paul S. Rees
Being a Christian is like being a pumpkin. God lifts you up, takes you in, and washes all the dirt off of you. He opens you up, touches you deep inside and scoops out all the yucky stuff, including the seeds of doubt, hate, greed, etc. Then He carves you a new smiling face and puts His light inside you to shine for all the world to see.

Betrayed, denied, tortured, mocked, crucified on a crude cross, His blood shed and died. Yet more innocent than a new born lamb was He. He endured this in place of you and I that we may see eternal life. How great a love is this.
PRAISE GOD HE IS RISEN!
One day He will come for those that have accepted Him as their Saviour that we may enjoy eternal life with Him.
We love Him because He first loved us.
Will you reject Him also or will you accept the wonderful love that He has for us?

What is the connection of the Old Testament to the Gospel?
There are those that would have us throw away the Old Testament books. To disregard any teachings that come from them. The Old Testament is the entire basis of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is our schoolmaster. Without it the understanding of the need for Jesus Christ might escape us completely.
We are told how God created all there is and it was "very good". We see how many chose to disobey God whereby sin entered into the world. We see how man tried to please God with his own works (Gen 4:3 ) We see how many continually rejected God, the formation of the laws that no man could hold to on his own.
We also see the many references and prophecies of God's solution for this and His love for mankind, for mankind to be reunited with Him.
The New Testament, the gospel of Jesus Christ who is come to save those that were lost.

Buddha never claimed to be God. Moses never claimed to be Jehovah. Mohammed never claimed to be Allah. Yet Jesus Christ claimed to be the true and living God. Buddha simply said, "I am a teacher in search of the truth." Jesus said, "I am the Truth." Confucius said, "I never claimed to be holy." Jesus said, "Who convicts me of sin?" Mohammed said, "Unless God throws his cloak of mercy over me, I have no hope." Jesus said, "Unless you believe in me, you will die in your sins." --Unknown
Fundamentally, our Lord's message was Himself. He did not come merely to preach a Gospel; He himself is that Gospel. He did not come merely to give bread; He said, "I am the bread." He did not come merely to shed light; He said, "I am the light." He did not come merely to show the door; He said, "I am the door." He did not come merely to name a shepherd; He said, "I am the shepherd." He did not come merely to point the way; He said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life." --J. Sidlow Baxter
