Well to me it doesnt matter about the hair its what is on the inside that counts. For some woman short hair does look good on them and its easier to take care of. Women have the right to look good to go places and when hair isnt easy to take care of it hard to look good. I know we arent suppose to be vain but we all are to point and we all want to look human and not like a freak of nature cause our hair wont do what we want it to do. My hair is at my shoulders. My hair was down to my waist this summer and i live in oklahoma and my hair is thick and its alot cooler when it is shorter that is why i got it cut and when i had long hair and put it up to long it would give me headaches cause it was to heavy. So think about that next time you think a ladies hair is too short there might be a medical reason why she has it short. I dont think women should shave off their hair though that just doesnt look good at all i think lol. Sometimes i feel like doing that to my hair but i do think before i act lol.

Because one might be easier to manage then the other, or because they like the way they look with a style, or because they know their boyfriend (or males in general) like her hair like that, because their friends are all doing it, because she wasn't to try something new, maybe they cut it liek that so they can do something special with it, the list goes on and on.

Is there any other time in history that women wore their hair this short or is this a fairly modern thing, say like in the last hundred or so years?

Maybe I'm way off base here and if so, just tell me...
We are living in the end times, the last years to win souls for the Kingdom, and THIS is what we're worried about, how long or short or what color our hair is?
Sorry, I just don't see the relevance. The Bible says that a woman's hair should be her crowning glory, that means neat and clean folks, not long or short or purple or pink.

Hi Ollie, Everytime I see your name I think of the game we used to play as kids. I really even forget what it was all about now. Just remember kids calling--------ollie ollie in free. Was it hide and go seek? Oh well! Anyway, thought I'd try and do a little research on "hair" in history. Found a site I thought you might be interested in reading. http://www.spiritualabuse.org/hair/history.htmlcris

No, just reading enough of the Bible to recognize the signs. Like I said, of all the things to be worried about, THIS is a topic?

But this is a place of fellowship for Christians to discuss things on their minds and hearts. So there shouldn't be any reason NOT to ask for the opinion of others.... If ollie had asked if we should avoid witnessing to women with short hair; well.....

No, just reading enough of the Bible to recognize the signs. Like I said, of all the things to be worried about, THIS is a topic? You mean the same signs that has been around for about 2000 years? Do your self a favor and put Tim Lahey down for a little bit. Go out for some coffee. Look around. The world is not as bad as the Evangelical and liberal spindoctors would like you to think. Brandie said: Like I said, of all the things to be worried about, THIS is a topic? I think it is a good topic. I like to reflect on it. For instance - If I had hair, I would wear it long enought to comb into the hair in my ears - or maybe even braid them together - sorta like I do with my nose hair and my mustache.

Do kids play these games anymore? One hardly sees kids outdoors anymore. Preoccupied with all the electronic gadgets I suppose. I went to the web site and found some of it interesting. Some of it may not be accurate, some of it may, like all written matter concerning contemporary things. Will go back and read some more of it later. Thanks for finding it and posting the address. Ollie
