2  Theology / Debate / Losing Religion to Find Salvation on: July 19, 2021, 02:08:23 PM
The  story is told about a  man that fell into a  pit and could't get himself out .

A philosopher came along and  reasoned with him why there are  pits in our  world .

A Psychologist came  by and  researched the  procedures by which he landed in the pit , and tried to help him to accept his  pit .

A religious man came by and told him to keep trying to pull himself up by his bootstraps to keep working at getting  out that pit .

A  Christian  scientist came along and  said ,  You only  think you"re  in a  pit .

A televangelist came by to raise 50  million dollars to  minister to his  needs and told him that  his lack of  faith led him to be in this pit .

A politician came by and  volunteered to start a  National  Pit  Elimination  Program

A county inspector said , Did  you have a  permit for that pit ?

An  optimist said  " Things could be  worse .

A pessimist claimed ,  Things are  gonna get much  worse .

But  Jesus  Christ came and   He  lifted him out of his pit .

Outside of  Christ , each of us are in a  PIT  we can't get ourselves out of , a  PIT  of  sin , death  , condemnation and  judgment  .

We are without strength and  unable to save  ourselves , and we each need  a  Savior .

Religion doesn't save anyone .

Only  Christ  saves , Rom 10: 9 and Paul  says , That in  ME  , FIRST / PROTOS  Christ  Jesus might show forth all  longsuffering for a  PATTERN of the ones coming to believe on HIM unto everlasting life .

This is a message by   Pastor  Kevin  sadler , of  BBS .

3  Theology / Debate / Re: WHO BELIEVES THAT PAUL WATER BAPTIZED ?? on: July 16, 2021, 03:17:44 PM
There is a difference in searching to insure that we have the correct word of God and that of debating.

To remove all doubt about Baptism in water and the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. In Mathew chapter 3 we see where Jesus was Baptized both by water and has he came out of the water was then blessed by God with the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.

Mat 3:1  In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea,
Mat 3:2  And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Mat 3:3  For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.
Mat 3:4  And the same John had his raiment of camel's hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey.
Mat 3:5  Then went out to him Jerusalem, and all Judaea, and all the region round about Jordan,
Mat 3:6  And were baptized of him in Jordan, confessing their sins.
Mat 3:7  But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
Mat 3:8  Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:
Mat 3:9  And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.
Mat 3:10  And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
Mat 3:11  I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:
Mat 3:12  Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.
Mat 3:13  Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.
Mat 3:14  But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?
Mat 3:15  And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.
Mat 3:16  And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:
Mat 3:17  And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

The Baptism of the Holy Spirit cannot be done by man but by God alone. Man can only Baptize by water. We see in the following verses where Jesus tells his Apostles to Baptize in his name.

Mat 28:18  And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
Mat 28:19  Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Mat 28:20  Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

We are told to follow in His footsteps so as He was Baptized with water so should we also.

1Pe 2:21  For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:

As for the reading of this in the Greek language... The Greek word for Baptism whether it was with water or with that of the Holy Spirit it is the same. The difference is that only one of them actually saves as we see spoken of in (Eph 4:5  One Lord, one faith, one baptism) the other of which is the Baptism in water is only a public declaration of faith and obedience, the following in His steps.

And here is my last reply as to  1 Cor 1:15 .

Verse 15 begins with Lest   ANYONE /  UN  is a Greek  Disjunctive Particle , Negative and anyone can  google it and see what a  Disjunctive  Particle , Negative means and look up  G3361 and it means Not , Neither , and no one can than say that I had  baptized for  my  NAME .

Just check the  Greek text as I did and you will  see the Greek  word  UN .

4  Theology / Debate / Re: Are the 12 Apostles In or Out of the Body of Christ ? on: July 10, 2021, 02:06:38 PM
So, according to you, nobody is in the Body of Christ. See how that thinking works.

I  did not say that Nor does the  text say that .

The  KJV says There is  NEITHER /OV  , Jew  nor  Greek .

There is  NEITHER / OV  bond nor free .

there is  NEITHER / OV  male  nor  female .

The  Greek word for  NEITHER  is the   Greek word  OV  which is a  DISJUNCTIVE  PARTICLE , NEGSATIVE  PRONOUN  and when you understand what that means that is a  FINAL  CONCLUCSION  it  is a  new  body  " in  Christ " .

5  Theology / Debate / This is what I believe Luke 13:28 means today . on: July 05, 2021, 03:58:09 PM
I happened to be reading in Luke 13:28 and then checked the  Greek text !

It reads There shall be weeping gnashing of teeth , when  ye shall see  Abraham , and  Isaac , and  Jacob , and all the  prophets , in the  Kingdom of  God , and you yourselves THRUST  OUT .

So when does  this weeping and  gnashing of teeth happen ?

It has been  happening for some 2000 years and  counting , as SHALL BE / ESOMAI   and  verb is in the  FUTURE  TENSE  and in the  Indicative  mood that means  it is a  Fact .

This means that Abraham  , and  Jacob and  Isaac and the  OT  prophets are being seen in Hades where there is a gulf between Paradise in  Luke 16:26 .

The  Greek words , YE SHALL SEE / OPTANOMAI   is in the  Greek  Aorist  tense which has happened in the  PAST .

And those in Hades  , are watching ,  YOURSELVES  THRUST /  EKBALLO  out from  entering the Kingdom of  God .

6  Theology / Debate / Re: ARE YOU SURE YOU WILL BE RESURRECTED ? on: June 26, 2021, 02:00:44 PM
And just last week , Im heard a knock on  my door , a  salesman and found out , he  believed in Baptism for  the dead .

They believe in the  bible and also there Historical  book .

But could not explain  verse 3 , Greek word HIS / AUTOS  which is a Personal possessive  Pronoun  in the  Genitive  Case .

Or explain 6:4  NOT / OV  which is a  Disjunctive  Particle  Pronoun , which is NEGATIVE .

Check  blue  Letter  Bible and all will see , what I saw .

7  Theology / Debate / Re: ARE YOU SURE YOU WILL BE RESURRECTED ? on: June 25, 2021, 08:00:27 PM
And there are answers to  1 Cor 15:29 and we know that the  Sadducee , did not believe in the  resurrection .

1  Cor  15:29 is there for a  reason and I will present my explanation of it .

Reading  Rom 6:3  that as many were PLACED / BAPTIZO into His  death .

And by the way the  Greek word HIS /AUTOS is a  Personal possessive  pronoun . And in verse 4 we were through this  BAPTISMA   (  which is the  Holy spirit which means that He is the only  BAPTIZER  )   in the age of  Grace , like in Eph 4:5  , called   ( ONE BAPTIZER  )

So all believers That are in the  B O C  will be  resurrected , because threy are baptized for the dead , by the  Holy  Spirit .

9  Theology / Debate / ARE YOU SURE YOU WILL BE RESURRECTED ? on: June 24, 2021, 02:54:02 PM
In  1  Cor 15:29 Else  , what shall they do which are  baptized  for the  dead , if the  dead rise not at all ?

Why are they then  baptized  for the  dead ?

Is this  baptism for the  dead for today ?

 Yes  or  No ?

I say  YES , that all believer have to be  Baptized for the  dead .

 What say you ??

10  Theology / Debate / Re: HOW ARE PASTORS APPOINED SCRIPTUALLY ? on: March 13, 2021, 01:52:35 PM
Hi andn this nis bhow I see tha appointment of  PASTORS .

#1 , I NTim 3:1 reads If anyone  reaches after an  OFFICE ,  he  desires a  good  work .

#2 , This is what Paul mdid in  Acts 14:23  Paul and the  Elders he had  appointed , They first  PRAYED  , with  FASTING , they committed them to the  Lord in  Whom they had  believed .

#3 , The  Greek word in WHOM THEY HAD  BELIEVED  is in the  Greek  PLUPERFECT  TENSE , ACTIVE  VOICE and in the  INDICATIVE  MOOD  that verse 23 is a  FACT .

#4  We also see in  Acts 20:28  That is the  HOLY  SPIRIT  that made them  OVERSEERS .

11  Theology / Debate / Re: HOW ARE PASTORS APPOINED SCRIPTUALLY ? on: March 09, 2021, 07:37:14 PM
Hi and in Titus 1:6  it says that the  HUSBAND  / ANER  is in the  Greek  NOMINATIVE CASE  and the  SUBJECT .

The next Greek word is  OF  ONE / HEIS  is in the  Greek  GENITIVE  CASE ,  points to the description OR POSSESSION  of one  wife

The next Greek word ,  WIFE / GYNE  is also in the  GENITIVE  CASE

Some have a hard time explaining away ONE  WIFE  and many  Pastors and  ELDERS  , also !

13  Theology / Debate / Re: SEE THE SIMILARITIES BETWEEN CHRIST AND PAUL . on: March 06, 2021, 07:13:59 PM
NO!!!!!!

Christ is the son of God, Paul was the son of mortals, there is no comparison.

That's like comparing Ruth and Esther, Ruth was a Gentile while Esther was a Jewess. Ruth is a young Gentile woman who is brought to live among the Jews and marries a Jew.  Esther is a young Jewish woman who marries a Gentile king. While Ruth shows that God is sovereignly working in the lives of ordinary people.  Esther shows that God is sovereignly working in the lives of the leaders of our world.

You can compare all you want but, your treading on dangerous grounds.

Hi and let everyone decide for themselves ,  and  we have one  NO  , so far .

 b Paul -- Acts 21:36 and Acts 22:22

15  Theology / Debate / ANOTHER WAY TO PROOF PAUL WAS THE FIRST ONE SAVED BY GRACE on: February 19, 2021, 02:41:11 PM
Hi and read 1 Cor 15:8 , And last of all  HE  was seen by me also , as if it were an untimely BRITH .

The  Greek word  LAST / ESCHATOS  is an  adjective in the  ACCUSATIVE  CASE  is a  description that Paul experienced of being the LAST to see mthe Christ .

The next Greek words OF ALL / PAS is in the  GENTIVE CASE shows possession  of all .

The next Greek words HE WAS SEEN / OPANOMAI  is in the  Greek AORIST  TENSE , PASSIVE  VOICE , and in the INDICATIVE  MOOD .

Means that Paul did see Christ at Christ  RESURRECTION .

The  PASSIVE  VOICE  means Christ showed himself to Paul  andmthe  INDICATIVE  MOOD  it is a  FACT .

The next Greek words OF ME ALSO / KAGO is in the  DATIVE  CASE and means teh  action described .

The next Greek words are  OF ONE BORN OUT OF DUE  TIME / EKTROMA  is also in the  DATIVE  CASE .

So Paul was  BORN  before the TIME   , WHO WILL BE  BORN IN TIME ?

We see that Paul was born before the TIME  , because in some 40 years  Israel was to be set  ASIDE  that can be shown by  MANY verses and here is just one  2  Cor 3:10-15 .

So who  is  BORN IN DUE TIME  and when does  that happen ?

First  Rom 11:25 will be  FULFILLED  ,  the  COMING / PAROUSIA   of Christ for his  BODY OF CHRIST , 2 Thess 2:1  .

Then  all  ISRAEL  WILL BE  SAVED , Rom 11:26 .
