I would read all that, but I have this weird phobia of big, long, solid blocks of text.
Besides, from just skimming it I can say that I've heard it all before, disputed it all before, and probably almost gotten kicked off this board because of it all before (I have a short temper), so frankly, I don't think it's worth my time or effort. I'm sorry you wasted your's.

Most likely to drop a conversation in the middle: Allinall Ok. Name just one conversation I've dropped right smack dab in the middle of? Go ahead! I'm waaaaaaiiiiiting?? (BTW - I am kidding ) Sorry Allinall, I just can't help myself. President Bush's approval rating drops Eeeewwwwwwww...K. Strike that. Reverse it. Name just one time I've dropped a conversation in the middle of it! Hahahaahaaa! There. Beat that one Mr. "I'll just take the blatantaly obvious blunder Allinall made and exploit it till he cries like a baby in his coffee cup"...! BTW, nice graphic on your name. I'm likin' it! Thank you, Bronzesnake did the graphics. Okay now, naming just one time you've dropped a conversation in the middle of it, is easy. The All-Out Allinall Thread Boosting Post Ok. So that's one! BTW, I stopped that one for two reasons: 1. All y'all hijacked my thread and ended up with higher post ratings than me. I'm bitter. 2. There's like 31 pages in it man! I've got ADD! I lose it after the second page! Where were we? Un huh, right, that is not a good excuse. Okay here, is another one then. Dead. Doornail Dead., and that wasn't hijacked! Hmmmm...would you believe "the Devil made me do it?" Nope! Would the fact that I'm busy at work and live in a house full of estrogen be a good excuse? ADD, dead, doomail dead, the devil made me do it................. Hmmmm, now it's a hormonal imbalance! I know, whats next? Ok. Here's the best one yet. I get abducted by aliens and repeatedly have my memory erased... I'm just quoting because I think the quote box looks cool. Like looking down on a tower from above.

Basically, what we did was focus on this place called Hsimen Ding; it's the youth epicenter in Taiwan. It's pretty much six square blocks of stores, all employed by kids between 15 and 23. We were just told to make friends with these kids and share Christ with them. It was so easy; they were all so willing to hear what we had to say, and in all I think about 15-20 people accepted Christ in the two weeks we were there.
The thing that sucks is that there are no churches there; at least, none that the kids would feel welcome in. We visited the only two C&MA (Christian and Missionary Alliance, the denomination I am a part of) churches close enough to be reasonable to visit once a week, and both of them were super-conservative, with a hellfire-and-damnation kind of approach. What's worse is that none of the churches in Taiwan (there are only 23 C&MA in the entire country; I don't know if there are any others) feel compelled to reach out to Hsimen Ding; in fact, most af them are afraid to. The place has a bad rep. Not a very popular or respected place in Taiwan.
So the kids we witnessed to need prayer, badly. We were the last group to visit this year, so many of them are going to have a tough time keeping up with their faith. Right now we're doing a Paul-type ministry, keeping in touch through e-mail and such.
All in all, though, it was the most amazing and profound experience of my life.
Hmm...I might just put this in the "Prayer Requests" forum. They need it.

I've been lurking recently. Not a lot has really intrigued me. It's been slow here for the last few months. My graphic contains a quote from a song. It doesn't really mean anything, I just like it. Actually, it's from a song by a Christian group called Sunny Day Real Estate. But whatever. I just got back from a mission trip to Taiwan with my youth group. It was a blast.
