Hello All!
Brother Bob, You're right - the good has nothing to do with politics, rather food, shelter, clothing, medical attention, and other human needs. There should also be a distinction between the government and the Church which is the Body of Christ.
Love In Christ,
Tom

Oh how I would like to find a deserted island, that has food, and water supplies easy to find. I don't know about the rest of you, but I would go and I know of some others that would go as well......

Can I go too? I would have only one request:
that winners of the Nobel Peace Prize be banned from the island forever.
I first thought this was a horrible JOKE. After considerable thought, I still think it's a horrible JOKE.

Yes brother you can come too, and yes the Nobel Peace Prize winners are
BANNED
forever from the island. This also includes, muslims, buddhism, hindu's or another foolish religion. God's Word, would be the law of the land, or in this case, the island.
Besides that, they wouldn't like it there. Not with every member of the island
HAS TO BE A CHRISTIAN
. Bibles would be in every home, and if the people wanted, they could openly display their Bibles. The 10 Commandments, will be displayed openly, as well as the "Cross".

[/b]
By the way, I also think the Nobel Peace Prize is in bad taste. They have voted in some wonderful people, then there are the jokers, Gore, Obama, Jimmy Carter, Arafat, and Muhammad ElBaradei.
The committee did something else. They ensured that their Nobel Peace Prize will never be taken as seriously again as once it was.
Well my doctors appointment is coming and my coffee is cold. So I will say, later Christian Soldiers.

Hello DreamWeaver and All,
I don't have any coffee sitting in front of me right now, but that's going to be fixed. I like the sound of that island, but I don't think that we'll be here long enough to colonize it. I honestly think that the Rapture will be soon. Until then - ONWARD CHRISTIAN SOLDIERS!
Brother, please let us know how the doctor appointments go and know that we'll be praying for you.
Love In Christ,
Tom

Thank you brother, it is much appreciated. It is starting to look like I may have to spend more time, in the body and fender shop coming up. There are problems with the rods (and a few other problems) in my back, and I'll leave it at that for now.
I pray that each of y'all have a great day with the Lord. And remember Jesus loves us all.
Resting in the Hands of the Lord.

Acts 9:31
Then had the churches rest throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, were multiplied.

Brother Bob,
You'll be in my prayers. I would spend some time myself in that body and fender shop if I thought it would do any good. I honestly think that the Rapture is getting near, and we will be leaving these broken bodies behind.
In the meantime - KEEP LOOKING UP!
Love In Christ,
Tom

My prayers will also be with you. I'm sure the body and fender shop wouldn't help me in the least. The only thing that would help will be that glorified body that we all are looking forward to.

Good morning! We are having a gloriously rainy day here in Seattle. Well actually, it's more than raining, it's torrential downpour! I am thanking the Lord for my blessings this morning, namely that I am inside and cozy.
And I'm also thanking Him for His tremendous love and care for me. I'm going through a bit of a storm in my life right now, but I know that He is holding me in the palm of His hands and that His safe arms are wrapped tighly around me!
I am praising Him in ALL things and also that I don't miss the lesson of growth in all of this.
Love to you all,
Yvette

Hello Grammyluv,
Sister, I pray for you every day, and I give thanks for our circle of Christian friends who all pray for each other every day. God knows all of our needs, and He is with us every step of the way. You're already doing what I like to do - count my blessings and give thanks. I also love to meditate on God's Promises to us. Truly, things do work out for our good when we love God, and it's all according to His Perfect Will for us. Nobody loves us like God does, and He loved us before the foundation of the world. He numbered the hairs on our heads and knit us together in love for His Eternal Purpose. Sister, it's all too wonderful and beyond our current comprehension, but He will reveal more at His Appointed Time. Most of us think that His Appointed Time is drawing near, and we can KEEP LOOKING UP in anxious anticipation. We will love His Glorious Appearing.
Love In Christ,
Tom
"When I have learned to love God better than my earthly dearest, I shall love my earthly dearest better than I do now. In so far as I learn to love my earthly dearest at the expense of God and instead of God, I shall be moving towards the state in which I shall not love my earthly dearest at all. When first things are put first, second things are not suppressed but increased."

Amen and amen. If we but look toward God, even the gloomiest appearing days bring wonderful and bright things into our lives.

Trust me brother, I am ready to leave this wicked world behind. Though I am tired of living in pain, I know He, will call us home one day. That is a day, that will change this world forever.
We should remember that when it starts getting dark and gloomy, there is a light shining for His own. For the darkness can not, live in the Light of His kindness.

I hope that every one is having a great day. I do have a fresh mug of coffee, and I'm enjoying a variety of good Christian materials.
KEEP LOOKING UP!
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 NASB 13 But we do not want you to be uninformed, brethren, about those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve as do the rest who have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus. 15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.
1 Corinthians 15:50-58 NASB 50 Now I say this, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. 51 Behold, I tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 53 For this perishable must put on the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 But when this perishable will have put on the imperishable, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then will come about the saying that is written, "DEATH IS SWALLOWED UP in victory. 55 "O DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR VICTORY? O DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR STING?" 56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law; 57 but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord.

I've had my coffee and I am feeling anxious for nothing today. I am looking forward to a wonderful day in the Lord. Never mind that I am heading to the laundry mat, because I always take my bible with me, as always, and look forward to spending that time with God.

Amen! - I'm glad to hear it. I have a fresh mug of coffee in front of me, and I look forward to doing the same thing. (Small Print: but without the laundry.) I messed the laundry up several times with colors and too much or too little of the right cleansing agents, so I'm not allowed near the washer.
I've been reading some of my favorite older authors and following along in the Bible (Octavius Winslow, George H. Morrison, and John MacDuff). A lot more has become available recently. I'm hoping that the Rapture happens before I get a chance to enjoy all of it.
I love your cool graphic - consider it snagged.
Love In Christ,
Tom
