I would love to hear about it. I am sure that many are facing the same problems that we are here in the U.S. but because it requires other news sources to find out we just don't hear about them. This evil is world wide and it will help others to know better in how to pray for all their brothers and sisters.

Please let me second this. I would love to hear about Canada, the people, and the society. I would be fascinated to know more, and I would also like to know better how to pray for our Brothers and Sisters in CHRIST in Canada. PRAYER is a beautiful thing we can do for each other, and GOD loves to hear our PRAYERS.

Love In Christ,
Tom

I do have my coffee, and it sure is good - hot, fresh, and black. It's afternoon, so I'll give everyone an Australian greeting that works all the time:

G'DAY

MATES!

So, how are you mates? I hope that you're having a great day. As Christians, it doesn't take much for us to have a great day.

HELLO EVERYONE!

I'm sitting here drinking a cup of fresh, hot, black coffee.  YUM!

I've been having a good time reading some of the old threads and reflecting back on years of fellowship with many sweet Christians. We live in difficult times now, and many people are feeling overwhelmed. As Christians, it's nice to know that we still belong to CHRIST, and GOD still holds us in HIS Mighty Hands.

I'm hoping that these harder times bring all of us closer IN CHRIST! After all, we are weak, but HE is strong! HE wants us to come to HIM in times of difficulty. HE wants to hear our prayers, and I think that HE will come to take us HOME soon.

One of my favorite things to think about is our Citizenship in Heaven. FIRST and always, we are Children of the KING OF KINGS, and an Inheritance as Sons and Daughters awaits us that is beyond human imagination.

In the meantime, we can SPEAK UP and never be ashamed of the GOSPEL OF THE GRACE OF GOD. It's still the most powerful message in the world, one that the world needs desperately. This lost and dying world is now like a runaway freight train traveling downhill into the pit. I don't think that the brakes on the train work. We see the signs around the world, and we should know that the End Days of this Age of Grace are drawing near. Only GOD knows, but I think that many of us will be alive for the RAPTURE. TONIGHT would be just GREAT!

Love In Christ,
Tom

Grin  Brother Bob, let me guess:  is this a graphic that I snagged from you? If so, I hope that I told you. If you made it, I LIKE IT! You're most welcome to snag all of the graphics I use and make. In fact, I've made a few new ones that I can't remember whether I've posted them or not.

GOOD MORNING BROTHER DAVID AND ALL!

I have my coffee and I actually rested last night almost like a normal person.   Wink  OK, maybe I'm not so normal.

Brother David, I just sent you an email with some audios that I hope you enjoy. It's from one of my favorite authors, John MacDuff. I think his writing is beautiful, and I haven't gotten to listen to these audios yet, but I plan to as soon as I can.

I'm also working on a post right now of the GOOD NEWS. Brother David, it's for you to use, and I hope that GOD uses it also.

GOOD NEWS!

1:  Romans 3:10 NLT  As the Scriptures say, "No one is good- not even one.

2:  Romans 3:23 NLT  For all have sinned; all fall short of God's glorious standard.

3:  Romans 5:12 NLT  When Adam sinned, sin entered the entire human race. Adam's sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned.

4:  Romans 6:23 NLT  For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.

5:  Romans 1:18 NLT  But God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who push the truth away from themselves.

6:  Romans 3:19-20 NLT  Obviously, the law applies to those to whom it was given, for its purpose is to keep people from having excuses and to bring the entire world into judgment before God.  20  For no one can ever be made right in God's sight by doing what his law commands. For the more we know God's law, the clearer it becomes that we aren't obeying it.

7:  Romans 3:27 NLT  Can we boast, then, that we have done anything to be accepted by God? No, because our acquittal is not based on our good deeds. It is based on our faith.

8:  Romans 5:8-9 NLT  But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.  9  And since we have been made right in God's sight by the blood of Christ, he will certainly save us from God's judgment.

9:  Romans 2:3-4 NLT  Do you think that God will judge and condemn others for doing them and not judge you when you do them, too?  4  Don't you realize how kind, tolerant, and patient God is with you? Or don't you care? Can't you see how kind he has been in giving you time to turn from your sin?

10:  Romans 3:19-22 NLT  Obviously, the law applies to those to whom it was given, for its purpose is to keep people from having excuses and to bring the entire world into judgment before God.  20  For no one can ever be made right in God's sight by doing what his law commands. For the more we know God's law, the clearer it becomes that we aren't obeying it.  21  But now God has shown us a different way of being right in his sight-not by obeying the law but by the way promised in the Scriptures long ago.  22  We are made right in God's sight when we trust in Jesus Christ to take away our sins. And we all can be saved in this same way, no matter who we are or what we have done.

11:  Romans 3:24-28 NLT  Yet now God in his gracious kindness declares us not guilty. He has done this through Christ Jesus, who has freed us by taking away our sins.  25  For God sent Jesus to take the punishment for our sins and to satisfy God's anger against us. We are made right with God when we believe that Jesus shed his blood, sacrificing his life for us. God was being entirely fair and just when he did not punish those who sinned in former times.  26  And he is entirely fair and just in this present time when he declares sinners to be right in his sight because they believe in Jesus.  27  Can we boast, then, that we have done anything to be accepted by God? No, because our acquittal is not based on our good deeds. It is based on our faith.  28  So we are made right with God through faith and not by obeying the law.

12:  Romans 10:8-9 NLT  Salvation that comes from trusting Christ-which is the message we preach-is already within easy reach. In fact, the Scriptures say, "The message is close at hand; it is on your lips and in your heart."  9  For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

13:  Romans 4:14-25 NLT  So if you claim that God's promise is for those who obey God's law and think they are "good enough" in God's sight, then you are saying that faith is useless. And in that case, the promise is also meaningless.  15  But the law brings punishment on those who try to obey it. (The only way to avoid breaking the law is to have no law to break!)  16  So that's why faith is the key! God's promise is given to us as a free gift. And we are certain to receive it, whether or not we follow Jewish customs, if we have faith like Abraham's. For Abraham is the father of all who believe.  17  That is what the Scriptures mean when God told him, "I have made you the father of many nations." This happened because Abraham believed in the God who brings the dead back to life and who brings into existence what didn't exist before.  18  When God promised Abraham that he would become the father of many nations, Abraham believed him. God had also said, "Your descendants will be as numerous as the stars," even though such a promise seemed utterly impossible!  19  And Abraham's faith did not weaken, even though he knew that he was too old to be a father at the age of one hundred and that Sarah, his wife, had never been able to have children.  20  Abraham never wavered in believing God's promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this he brought glory to God.  21  He was absolutely convinced that God was able to do anything he promised.  22  And because of Abraham's faith, God declared him to be righteous.  23  Now this wonderful truth-that God declared him to be righteous-wasn't just for Abraham's benefit.  24  It was for us, too, assuring us that God will also declare us to be righteous if we believe in God, who brought Jesus our Lord back from the dead.  25  He was handed over to die because of our sins, and he was raised from the dead to make us right with God.

14:  Romans 10:8-13 NLT  Salvation that comes from trusting Christ-which is the message we preach-is already within easy reach. In fact, the Scriptures say, "The message is close at hand; it is on your lips and in your heart."  9  For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.  10  For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved.  11  As the Scriptures tell us, "Anyone who believes in him will not be disappointed."  12  Jew and Gentile are the same in this respect. They all have the same Lord, who generously gives his riches to all who ask for them.  13  For "Anyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."

Thanks be unto GOD for HIS unspeakable GIFT!, JESUS CHRIST, our Lord and Saviour forever!

Brother David and All,

I had tried to change the GOOD NEWS post that I usually use, and I messed it up also. I think that I have everything fixed now, so I apologize for the errors. Here's my new one, and I'm awake and sharp now.   Wink
__________________________

GOOD NEWS!

1:  Romans 3:10 NASB  as it is written, "THERE IS NONE RIGHTEOUS, NOT EVEN ONE;

2:  Romans 3:23 NASB  for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

3:  Romans 5:12 NASB  Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned--

4:  Romans 6:23 NASB  For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

5:  Romans 1:18 NASB  For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,

6:  Romans 3:19-20 NASB  Now we know that whatever the Law says, it speaks to those who are under the Law, so that every mouth may be closed and all the world may become accountable to God;  20  because by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes the knowledge of sin.

7:  Romans 3:27 NASB  Where then is boasting? It is excluded. By what kind of law? Of works? No, but by a law of faith.

8:  Romans 5:8-9 NASB  But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.  9  Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him.

9:  Romans 2:3-4 NASB  But do you suppose this, O man, when you pass judgment on those who practice such things and do the same yourself, that you will escape the judgment of God?  4  Or do you think lightly of the riches of His kindness and tolerance and patience, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance?

10:  Romans 3:19-22 NASB  Now we know that whatever the Law says, it speaks to those who are under the Law, so that every mouth may be closed and all the world may become accountable to God;  20  because by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes the knowledge of sin.  21  But now apart from the Law the righteousness of God has been manifested, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets,  22  even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction;

11:  Romans 3:24-28 NASB  being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus;  25  whom God displayed publicly as a propitiation in His blood through faith. This was to demonstrate His righteousness, because in the forbearance of God He passed over the sins previously committed;  26  for the demonstration, I say, of His righteousness at the present time, so that He would be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.  27  Where then is boasting? It is excluded. By what kind of law? Of works? No, but by a law of faith.  28  For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from works of the Law.

12:  Romans 10:8-9 NASB  But what does it say? "THE WORD IS NEAR YOU, IN YOUR MOUTH AND IN YOUR HEART"--that is, the word of faith which we are preaching,  9  that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;

13:  Romans 4:14-25 NASB  For if those who are of the Law are heirs, faith is made void and the promise is nullified;  15  for the Law brings about wrath, but where there is no law, there also is no violation.  16  For this reason it is by faith, in order that it may be in accordance with grace, so that the promise will be guaranteed to all the descendants, not only to those who are of the Law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all,  17  (as it is written, "A FATHER OF MANY NATIONS HAVE I MADE YOU") in the presence of Him whom he believed, even God, who gives life to the dead and calls into being that which does not exist.  18  In hope against hope he believed, so that he might become a father of many nations according to that which had been spoken, "SO SHALL YOUR DESCENDANTS BE."  19  Without becoming weak in faith he contemplated his own body, now as good as dead since he was about a hundred years old, and the deadness of Sarah's womb;  20  yet, with respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief but grew strong in faith, giving glory to God,  21  and being fully assured that what God had promised, He was able also to perform.  22  Therefore IT WAS ALSO CREDITED TO HIM AS RIGHTEOUSNESS.  23  Now not for his sake only was it written that it was credited to him,  24  but for our sake also, to whom it will be credited, as those who believe in Him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead,  25  He who was delivered over because of our transgressions, and was raised because of our justification.

14:  Romans 10:8-13 NASB  But what does it say? "THE WORD IS NEAR YOU, IN YOUR MOUTH AND IN YOUR HEART"--that is, the word of faith which we are preaching,  9  that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;  10  for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.  11  For the Scripture says, "WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED."  12  For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him;  13  for "WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED."

Well I have my coffee, and the Lord is with me today. Though I am feeling dopey today, as I'm on morphine. But I'd rather feel this way today, then in the pain I'm normally in.

G'DAY MATES!

Hello everyone,

I have had my coffee several times today, and I've had a great day so far. I'm off to see the doctor, so I guess that he'll tell me how I'm doing.   Wink

I've already had the tests, so there's no poking or blood-letting - at least today.   Grin

I hope that everyone has a great day.

We're getting ready to go now, and we can't wait to see our kids and grandkids. I have had time for coffee. It might be busy when we get there, but I'll have to make time for coffee. I just hope my daughter doesn't load the 3 grandsons down with candy for a sugar rush before we get there.   Wink  Regardless, we plan to survive. We're thinking about investing in helmets before we leave. Those would be for protection from the 2 year old.   Grin
