Good morning All,
Haven't been around much. Glad to see Brother Bob is up and around.
Sipping a cup and heading out to work on my roof.
3 layers of shingles and a layer of cedar shakes have to come off, then sheet the whole thing........this is the worst roof I have ever been on.
10 pitch so I have to have my harness on all the time.
Catch ya all later
YIKES I'm glad my roof is only a 5 pitch. I will be praying for you brother to be careful.

Brothers and Sisters, Hope you are all doing well. I have been checking in from time to time and hoping that my schedule will now permit me to rejoin in the fellowship. Blessings! -Am-

YES - I know it isn't morning, but I do have coffee in my hand. HELLO EVERYONE! I see that Gary is back but is about to tackle a tough roof job. Everyone has already asked you to be careful, so I'll just ask you to nail the shingles on straight. Holler at us when you finish so that we'll know that you made it off the roof in one piece. I saw Berean when I first logged on, so I wanted to say hello. It's been since 2004 and we hope you would come back, pull up a chair, and stay awhile.

I think that many folks ran races for back to school, changing schedules, and trying to figure out how they will get their kids everywhere on time. I remember doing that many years ago - getting clothes, buying books, trying to convince the kids that you really don't have $90 for a pair of tennis shoes that will last 8 weeks. My kids didn't like the deal I made - I would spend no more than what I spend for my own clothes and shoes. Needless to say, I don't wear designer clothes and expensive shoes. It was almost a meltdown for my daughter, so my wife made a compromise I didn't know about. HEY GUYS! - Has your wife ever done something like that. Well, I found out, and my wife told me that I didn't understand. BUT, I did understand - we didn't have the money to buy the fancy stuff and still pay the bills. OK - parents raising children - tell me this hasn't happened to you. I'm a grandpa now, and we break all the rules, so we try to get the grandsons something they want if we can afford it. BUT, we just buy one outfit and the daughter gets to worry about the rest. GUESS WHAT - she discovered Wal-Mart and understands what it takes to eat and keep a roof over your head.
