See brother Toms post above................    Although I can remember throwing cow chips, on my grand dads farm, back in the 60's...........

There is a fine art to cow chip tossing, and the first big trick is choosing the right one to compete with. It obviously MUST NOT be fresh, and the best shape to choose is flat like a plate.         The last trick is with wrist action, as it must be tossed like a frisbee - not too hard for the chip to fall apart.      

For those really wondering - YES! - We do have cow chip tossing contests in Oklahoma and have had for many years. They draw big crowds and the prizes are pretty large.         AND - YES! - I have tried it. It's much more difficult than one would imagine.

I remember having to throw a lot of cow chips as a kid ( with a shovel ). That is a "popular trade" here in Illinois for young teenagers.      It's real fun when it is fresh and slip and fall in it.

I WAS going to ask what cow chip are.........but after reading a little bit further forget it I DONT want to know .......... I was raised in a little town only one sq. mile, you alll have heard of Hoboken, we didn't have cows.......so no cow chips and no facials for me least not that kind..... I rather get a cucmber facial.

all I know is............they make more frisbees every day, who in the world thought it would be fun to toss a cow chip,.........you really have to be bored to come up with an idea like that
