Just now having my FIRST cup of coffee for today 

I've been up all of 30 minutes and I'm on my second cup of coffee.

 

I'm really thirsty today.

I been up since 6am and just now having my first cup. It's good too. Anticipation was making me wait.  I was thirsty too so I had 3 big bottles of water, and some green tea, that is a treat for me cause I'm not supposed to drink green tea, it messes up my coumadin doseage.

I would think that coffee would also if the tea does it.

I don't think that even stewardship counts as a good reason..............

Nope, at least it has never happened to me, but if I eat a lot of green vegetables, like green beans, collard, kale,  broccoli, stuff like that then my blood thickens up too much. I'm not supposed to have vitamin K either. When I first got put on coumadin 8 years ago I had to see a dietician for about 3 months. Then they found that I had high triglycerides and that I also was borderline diabetic so I had to go back again, cause they told me I had to limit my intake of starches like pasta, potatos, rice, beans, etc. So I just said ......ENOUGH........ I will eat what I want and let the doctors worry about adjusting my coumadin and my vytorin dosages, I don't like to weigh my meals and count every little piece of corn kernel I eat.... so far the doctors have done a great job. Now when they put me on any antibiotics my PT/INR goes haywire and then I have to get my blood tested every 7 days. There have been times when I've been put on antibiotics at least 3 times in one month.

Lemme see now cows eat grass, cow manure fertilizes the soil for the grass to grow so the cows can eat the grass, cows keep eating the grass till they get slaughtered and sold for human consumption............... YUCK......... I think I am going to become a vegetarian!!!!!

I remember as a teen seeing my Pastor step into a pen next to a farmer and help him shovel the pen clean in order to witness to him and get him to come to church. He had to go home after that to clean up before going to the next person he was going to visit but at least the farmer came to church.

That's the way I see it. I went on the Drs diet very strictly and my condition got worse. I went off the diet and I got much better.
