I was recently reading literature that had the quote, "No one comes to the
Father except through me". And I have, for a long time, believed this to be true. And the basis for a true Christian faith. Simply said you must have faith in Christ and believe in His existance {death, resurection, alive today}, and you cannot get to
God, Heaven, Afterlife, without going through Jesus first.
But my Mother heard me saying this, and challenged me. She said "Oh really? Show me where this is stated in the Bible!
Now I am dumbfounded and cannot find this passage!
I had thought around John 14:16 or something. The whole of the passage went something like this:
Jesus speaking - red letter;
"I am the way the truth and the life. No one comes to the
Father except through me".
Please help me prove my Mother wrong or at least find my mistake!!! Help Help
