I still think the problem lays in Christians taking themselves too seriously. In truth, 90% of what Christian argue about is just about this silly, but the self-righteous, pompous "My group is infallible" mind-set that many Christians have is a real kick in the butt of reason.  Everyone says "No group, not even mine, is perfect" but I do not bleieve most Christians who say that actually believe it.  |
