I try to spend time learning about what God wants me to do.

I also love to spend time teaching the youth group about Gods love and His plan for them. Planing a camping trip for them this year and hopefully anything else we can afford to do.

the hardes part is comeing up with new games for them to play  Grin just a big 31 year old kid myself

Its amazing how simple it is for God to make use of us isn't it?    Sounds like He is using you in a very unique and subtle way Rookie!

From one 30 something year old kid to another....Welcome to CU!   Keep seeking His purpose in your life.   Sounds like He is already making use of you and willingness to be used of Him.   Smiley

Grace and Peace!

how well I know your sentiments! I am a 48 year old youth
pastor and loving it!
I keep telling my wife that getting older is inevitable, but
growing up is optional!  Let us pray that we never "grow up"
and become the suffy old men that the youth ignore!

respectfully yours in Yeshua

John 3:17 for he came not into the world to condemn the world, but that the world thru him might be saved! Rom 8:1 there is therefore no con-
demnation to those who are in
christ Jesus...

Wow!

Can't believe it has been so long since I posted this thread.

Update:

Youth group has grown. We started with 5 kids and swelled to 16 before settling in at a comfortable 8. Praise God for the patience of children......I know I am not that interesting LOL

My wife and I both sing on the worship team now too. She always did, but I took a bit more convincing.... Grin

Our church is growing!!!!

seems there is never a shortage of those seeking God. I pray that their hearts soften and open to His love and grace.

It is very exciting to watch God work.
