Now I don't purport to be a prophet or anything even close after all this is something quite predictable. I did say somewhere that the evolutionists were going to be pushing to "find" more information to support their erroneous beliefs now that Christians are standing up for the truth.

They claim to have found a dinosaur "missing link".

They keep grasping at straws.

As Charlie Brown would say, GOOD GRIEF!! When are they ever going to learn. Everytime they try to refute the Bible, they fall flat on their faces. Grin

That's because they are to blind see what they are tripping over (The Bible).

This is just one of many such "finds" reported recently. They also say they found a "missing link" in fish. A fossil of a fish before they developed bones. It keeps getting more and more ridiculus.

 Ha, ha ,haaa! Cheesy

This is classic!

Look at the familliar terminology...

Birdlike dinosaurs newly unearthed in Utah may be a missing link between primitive meat-eating creatures and more evolved vegetarians, U.S. researchers reported today

The 125-million-year-old fossils show features of two-legged carnivorous dinosaurs called maniraptorans, from which birds are believed to have evolved, they said.

"Falcarius is literally a missing link Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy," Scott Sampson, chief curator at the Utah Museum of Natural History, told a news conference.

"Falcarius is kind of half-raptor and half herbivore. This transition is triggered by a shift in diet." It appeared at around the time that tasty, nutritious, flowering plants appeared on Earth, he said.

"We know that the first dinosaur was a small-bodied, lightly built, fleet-footed predator," Sampson added. All other dinosaurs evolved from it.

"However, as with many radiations of major groups of animals, it happened so quickly that we really don't have much in the way of fossil documentation."

Ha, haaa, haaa, haaa!!! I can't stop laughing! This is ludicrous!

I simply must pick it apart.

First though - look at "An artist's conception"

How many times will people fall for this kind of deception?  Tongue

"Birdlike dinosaurs newly unearthed in Utah may be a missing link between primitive meat-eating creatures and more evolved vegetarians, U.S. researchers reported today."

Look at the grandios proclamations here - "Birdlike dinosaurs newly unearthed"

It gives you the distinct impression that a Birdlike dinosaur has actually been unearthed! However, the very next paragraph reveals the reality of the find...

"The 125-million-year-old fossils show features of two-legged carnivorous dinosaurs called maniraptorans, from which birds are believed to have evolved, they said."

For starters, these dates are pure conjecture, useing radiometric dating techniques which give the dates in the millions of years, which are required to further the theory of evolution. The dates can only be realised through a huge and steady diet of presupposition and circular reasoning.

These exact "scientific" methods have been used to determine specific samples of Lava rock which was sent to several of the world's leading labs, and come up with dates in the hundreads of millions of years old lava rock. The trouble is that the lava rock was only twenty years old! Tongue

The language in such reports really is misleading and downright deceptive - however, at the same time, the report debunks itself!  Take a closer look.

"The 125-million-year-old fossils show features of two-legged carnivorous dinosaurs called maniraptorans, from which birds are believed to have evolved, they said."

OK, so if I believe I'm a millionairre, I guess I am!  Cheesy
There is no evidence, no testable, conclusive, or even slightly ambiguous evidence! Just unsubstantiated "belief"

Here comes the mother "load" Evolutionary scientists around the world no doubt bit down hard and cringed with embarrassment and a foreknowledge of the ridicule which is no doubt to follow! Embarrassed Tongue Cheesy Grin

"Falcarius is literally a missing link," Scott Sampson, chief curator at the Utah Museum of Natural History, told a news conference.

OK, first they say "Birdlike dinosaurs newly unearthed in Utah may be a missing link between primitive meat-eating creatures and more evolved vegetarians, U.S. researchers reported today."

Then, in the very same report they say.."Falcarius is literally a missing link," Scott Sampson, chief curator at the Utah Museum of Natural History, told a news conference. Cheesy Grin Tongue

A missing link from what!!?? Cheesy These good folks have become so self dillusional that they have apparantly forgotten what a "missing link" is supposed to represent! The theoretical "missing link" is supposed to be an example of a species in transition from one species into a totally new species!! Even if we were to believe this hob - gob - garbage - it's still a dinosaur! It isn't part bird like the report would mislead us to believe.

"Falcarius is kind of half-raptor and half herbivore. This transition is triggered by a shift in diet." It appeared at around the time that tasty, nutritious, flowering plants appeared on Earth, he said."

Wowee! is this the bar from which evolutionary change is measured??!! Bears eat grass and meat also. I guess they are a transitional species also!! Grin I wonder what "triggered" the transitional bear species "shift in diet" !!!  Grin Cheesy Tongue

"We know that the first dinosaur was a small-bodied, lightly built, fleet-footed predator," Sampson added. All other dinosaurs evolved from it.

They know this because they say so!! Cheesy

Now here's the pure gold ladies and gentlemen...

"However, as with many radiations of major groups of animals, it happened so quickly that we really don't have much in the way of fossil documentation."

This is a standard response to the inevitable request of proof. Show us the fossils! Oh, we only have a couple of tiny pieces, but hey! we have drawings!! Cheesy Grin Grin Grin

Hey, there's more!! Tongue

"The adult Falcarius would have walked on two legs and was about 13 feet long and 4.5 feet tall. It had strong forearms, sharp, curved, 4-inch claws and a long neck."

 This is total guess work.

Ok, this cripplingly stupid. You put out a "major" news report about this new "missing link" part dinosaur part bird, complete with lovly drawings. Then you make the following statement...

Quote
"FEATHERED FIEND?
It probably had feathers and is the earliest North American example of a therizinosaur, a group that includes feathered dinosaurs found in southeast China and maniraptorans, including the Velociraptor, perhaps best known from the novel and film "Jurassic Park."

BWAHHAAAAHHAAAHAAA!!! Grin This is killing me!

Yes my friends, evolution is crumbling under it's own stupidity. It's nothing more than wishful thinking, deception, lies, and a huge shell game. If you can't dazzle them with facts then baffle them with crap!

I thought you needed a good laugh, Bronze. I'm glad it was successful in doing so.  Cheesy Grin  I know that I was laughing when I first read it.

Well, you guys are saying a lot, but you still arn't saying much. Roll Eyes This thread is laking... depth. It is easy for everyone here to mock a belief that is somewhat odd (such as Reptiles evolving into birds, or a Fully-God, Fully-man savior of the human race being born of a virgin0, but none of you have given in colid proof to the contrary. Anyone can laugh at another beliefs, what takes skill is proving if wrong... Anyone?

Bronzesnake did a halfway good job, but I don't have any idea where all that info came from. Can you give me some respected source that says anything that you said, Bronzy? You do have a few fallacies, but I'm not going to worry about thoses at this time, because I like you.  Wink
