I watched it the other night. Ugh, the kids are out of control and these nannies come from England and are supposed to somehow "change" the kids behavior in a week! Gimme a break! The kids they have on there are horrendous. What is a nannie going to do in 1 week when they leave and the parents don't follow through on setting rules and guidelines? Just wondered if anyone else saw it, what they thought?

I have to say that I have seen it. It's actually pretty good...the nannies seem tough at first, but it's amazing how much influence they have over the children, even, in some cases, more than the parents. The changes that the households undergo in a week is rather incredible. It's one of those "feel-good" reality shows, one of the few I'd ever actually waste my time on.

I have seen a show like that called "Super Nanny".  The children are indeed very naughty.  She uses a "naughty mat" instead of a time-out chair.

When many parents today are asked what qualities they would like their children to develop, they will say independance, creativity etc and usually obedience is at the end of the list if on it at all.   If parents don't teach their children to be obedient, how do they expect them to be obedient to God.  Living with disobedient children is like living in hell.

Obedience needs to be taught while the child is very young:  even before they begin to speak.  Parents need to consistent and firm but loving.

I've seen it. My mum, who has worked with children for over 20 years, wonders why parents don't know how to control thekids themselves!

I've seen it too.  I fear for our future if there are that many households out of control!

The problem is the parents not the children in the one or two shows I saw.   No dicipline most of the time whatsoever.   The kids are just running amuck.   Scary, very scary!   Imagine all the families that do not get help?   This current generation appears to be in big big trouble.  :::wonders what the world will be like when they grow up:::
