Romans 8:28

    Hi everyone!
I am really glad that I have found this forum...it seems like there are a lot of wonderful people here. My name is Pam and I live in Illinois. I've had health problems most of my life but I rely on God's Grace to get me through them. I was born with a genetic kidney disease and have had 2 transplants-one of them has lasted almost 30 yrs.- Smiley I know that God has had a hand in that! I also have a congenital heart defect and a seizure disorder, but both are pretty well under control. Besides my transplants, I have had two knee replacements and cataracts removed because of the medicines I have to take. I live by Romans 8:28...it is so comforting to know that my sufferings are looked upon as meaningful in God's eyes.
I love to draw flowers and I guess you could say that is a ministry of mine- I make greeting cards and give them to my family, friends and others and always put "my" Bible verse on the back-I hope that people will see that even though they have trials in life, God can and will use them if they are willing.
I have four BEAUTIFUL nieces Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley whom I love like they were my own kids and am so happy that they are growing up knowing Jesus!
I am just so glad to be here among friends! Smiley Thank you for listening to my story....
     Love and Prayers,
     Pam

Hello Pam4Him,

Sister Pam, thank you sincerely for sharing your testimony with us. I love to hear how God works, even through illness and pain. Many of us have had serious illness, including me. It was during those times that I was closest to Jesus and grew stronger in HIM. I am left with nothing but thanks and more thanks to Jesus for being with me every step of the way. I especially give thanks that our hope and joy for eternity is not in these weak and sickly bodies of clay.

In short, I simply love to say:

KEEP LOOKING UP!

and

THANKS BE UNTO GOD FOR HIS UNSPEAKABLE GIFT!

Sister, I look forward to reading your posts.

Love In Christ,
Tom
