is there a christian music channel???

Does anyone know if there is such a thing as a Christian MTV? If not there should be. Maybe if people were flipping the channels and ran across it they would hear how great the music and the message is!

That's a very good question Alliecat! I have never thought of one.  It's more than likely on Cable though.

I got cable and the only thing that is kind of a christian station is a "music choice" chanell (which is the radio with album art)

Although i think thats a great idea (and by the way the creator of MTV was a preacher's son) From a business point of view it probally wont ever happen             there arent enough people willing to watch a christian music station for it to be profitable!

I think that more likely we could get a tv SHOW on some network.

DierctTV has Gospel channel 842 and Contemporary Christian channel 843.

If you have DishNetwork you can get music channels. They are audio only. I think 969 is CCM music.

If you get SkyAngel, you can get TVU (aimed at teens), SPIRIT (aimed at the CCM fans), Gospel Music Television and The Worship Channel (for those who prefer more mellow music.) Those are all audio and video channels.

There is a Christian MTV. It's called JCTV. I haven't gotten it through our cable provider yet, but they do have a website in which you can watch it live on your computer. The URL is...
