PA honors 16 terrorist murderers at boys’ school

To honor 16 terrorists serving one or numerous life sentences for murdering Israelis, Jenin District Governor Akram Rajoub and Salam Al-Taher, who serves as Head of the Educational Directorate in Jenin - a branch of the PA Ministry of Education - established the “Freedom to the Life Sentence Prisoners Garden” at the Izz A-Din Elementary School for Boys.

At the event, in which representatives from Fatah and “official institutions, security institutions, non-governmental institutions… the [PA-funded] Prisoners’ Club, and the [PLO] Commission of Prisoners’ Affairs” participated, olive tree seedlings “named after the life sentence prisoners” were planted. Reporting on the inauguration, the official PA daily noted that “the speakers emphasized that there is one message in inaugurating the garden: We adhere to the prisoners’ cause and stand alongside them.” [Official PA daily Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, March 22, 2022] – In other words: The PA condones and encourages terror and murder of Israelis!

Bangladesh sentences Islamist militants for killing secular writer

Four Islamist militants have been sentenced to death for killing a prolific Bangladeshi writer more than 18 years ago.

District judge Al Mamun handed down the verdict to the militants from the outlawed Islamist group Jamaatul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) for the murder of Humayun Azad, a former professor of Dhaka University, prosecutor Abdullah Abu said on Wednesday.

Nigerian atheist receives 24 years in prison for insulting Mohammed

An atheist activist in Nigeria was sentenced on Tuesday to 24 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to 18 blasphemy-related charges over online posts in which he criticized Islam.

Mubarak Bala, 37, was detained in April 2020 after he was accused of posting criticisms of Islam and its prophet, Mohammed, on Facebook, Africanews reported.

The posts breached the public peace in northern Nigeria, which is predominantly Muslim and partly under sharia law.

Austria: Radical Muslim beats man who distributed Bibles

On Tuesday afternoon, savage skirmishes took place in Vienna’s 12th district. An unknown man suddenly ran at a man who was distributing free Bibles in the pedestrian zone as a Christian missionary. The victim tried to defend himself at first, but had to flee after the attacker kicked him several times.

According to eyewitnesses, one of the two men was enraged by the Bible distributor’s shirt, which had “Christ is God” written on it in Arabic script. Apparently, this provoked the thuggish man to such an extent that he completely lost his temper and literally chased him. And this is exactly what outraged a colleague of the victim, because: in his opinion, the attack had radical-religious backgrounds.

A video on YouTube celebrating last week’s murder of three Israelis in Tel Aviv as a “miracle” may be in breach of the law against encouraging terrorism, legal experts have told the JC.

In a sickening post, Abdel Bari Atwan — an influential media figure known around the world — praised the gunman as a “martyr” and “hero” and said Israelis fleeing for their lives were “like mice”.

The shocking rant was posted on his YouTube channel, which has 750,000 subscribers.

I was looking at some of the live video taken this morning at the Temple Mount, and the Palestinians look like nothing more than actors, playing their roles.

Here are some kids who created a makeshift "barricade," with Israeli troops nowhere in sight. One has a soccer ball. Old men (and reporters) are watching as the audience.

And in this video, one of the "worshipers" is literally dancing.

They have actors, they have props, they have an audience, they have a stage.

A controversial fatwa published by the privately-owned Egyptian newspaper, Al-Masry Al-Youm, sent shockwaves across Egypt due to its call to ban the sale of food during daytime in Ramadan to 'infidels.'

The fatwa was released by preacher Mohamed Saleh El-Munajjid, a Syrian national of Palestinian origin who lives in Saudi Arabia, the hotbed of Wahhabism, an extremist interpretation of Islam.

JERUSALEM — Palestinians clashed with Israeli police at the Al-Aqsa mosque compound in Jerusalem before dawn on Friday as thousands gathered for prayers during the holy month of Ramadan. Medics said that at least 152 Palestinians were wounded.

The holy site, which is sacred to Jews and Muslims, has often been the epicenter of Israeli-Palestinian unrest, and tensions were already heightened amid a recent wave of violence. Clashes at the site last year helped spark an 11-day war with Hamas militants in the Gaza Strip.

The clashes come at a particularly sensitive time. Ramadan this year coincides with Passover, a major weeklong Jewish holiday beginning Friday at sundown, and Christian holy week, which culminates on Easter Sunday. The holidays are expected to bring tens of thousands of faithful into Jerusalem's Old City, home to major sites sacred to all three religions.

Prisoners 'forced to kill themselves' in İstanbul transferred to other prisons

The Human Rights Association (İHD) Delegation for Monitoring Prisons in Marmara Region has announced its findings regarding the rights violations in İstanbul's Silivri No. 5 Type-L Prison.

Lawyer Gülseren Yoleri, the head of the İHD İstanbul Branch, said they had confirmed the recent reports of torture and forced suicide in the prison during their visit.

Ten prisoners whom the guards tortured and attempted to force to kill themselves have been transferred to other prisons, she said.

Media spreads fake news about Muslim youth being attacked after watching Kashmir Files: Here is what actually happened

Earlier this week, several media outlets shared a news story about a Muslim youth being attacked in Tergaon village in Haliyal in Uttar Kannad District of Karnataka. The story claimed that 18 years old Amanulla Irfan was attacked due to his religion with a sword by a 30-year-old man named Honappa when Irfan was returning after watching ‘The Kashmir Files’.

The claim quickly went viral on social media with several media outlets blaming ‘Hindutva’ and The Kashmir Files film for the attack.

However, Karnataka Police has now clarified that the story was false and mischievous. Sharing the information on their fact-check page, the Karnataka police mentioned how the facts of the case have been twisted for propaganda purposes.

The special jury court in Paris on Friday April 15, in an appeal, sentenced two men suspected of wanting to commit “a mass murder” in Paris to 24 and 30 years in prison respectively, confirming the sentence of the first instance.

42-year-old Yassine Bousseria was found guilty of involvement in a terrorist criminal organisation for the preparation of acts of terrorism and sentenced to 24 years’ imprisonment with two-thirds security detention, while 31-year-old Moroccan Hicham El-Hanafi was sentenced to 30 years’ imprisonment, the maximum penalty provided by law, with two-thirds security detention.

Islamic State 'Beatles' cell member found guilty for beheading hostages

A former British citizen, a member of Islamic State, was convicted in US (Virginia) on Thursday. El Shafee Elsheikh, the convict, was member of Islamic State terrorist cell nicknamed "The Beatles" for their British accents. He took part in the infamous Islamic State hostage-taking plot that led to the beheading of American journalists and aid workers.

ElSheikh's trial went on for six-week and the jury took four hours to deliberate before declaring him guilty. The trial saw testimonies from some former hostages who were released by the "Beatles" after long negotiations. They spoke about the torture they endured. Family members of the deceased victims also testified.

On Friday, one of the Hindus revealed to the media that he was attacked by his Muslim neighbor to whom he had alerted about the riots and asked to stay safe amid the violence.

In an exclusive conversation with India TV, the Hindu victim said that he had asked his Muslim neighbors to stay secure amid the escalating violence. He stated that his neighbors defrauded him and joined the rioters who were pelting stones and petrol bombs on Hindu residences.
