Where did the other half of the Trib went to ?

The great Tribulation has been cut short according to Matthew 24, Daniel 12 talks about 1260 days. Now...   where did the latter part of the 70th week went to ?

We know the separation of the 69th week and the 70th week is 2000 years. But when the Tribulation week starts with the revealing of the antichrist, or any event that would imply the beginning of the last 7 years of the weekday, where did the other half went to ??
