“Adopted and Sealed”

By God’s Word I seek to live each day
By His Spirit I am adopted and sealed
A joy stirs my heart that’s here to stay
Knowledge of His Truth to me revealed

Now it’s through a darkened lens I see
Existence bound up in time and space
Far from here, an eternal reality for me
Forever to look upon my Savior’s face

His promises to me are true and sure
Reminding me of His grace and love
To be sanctified; to be holy and pure
Is the desire of one born from above

Ephesians 1:13-14 (NASB)
In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation—having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise,
who is given as a pledge of our inheritance, with a view to the redemption of God's own possession, to the praise of His glory.

Galatians 4:4-7 (NASB)
4 But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law,
5 so that He might redeem those who were under the Law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.
6 Because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, "Abba! Father!"
7 Therefore you are no longer a slave, but a son; and if a son, then an heir through God.

Being a writer defines who I am; it’s what I enjoy doing. What I write demonstrates my love for Jesus Christ, and thankfulness for the incomparable gift of His salvation.
