Please Pray For Me

Hello I am new to this forum and I have one request.  I would like everyone to pray for me.  A few years ago I allowed porn trash into my christian life knowing all the time that it was wrong.  I am ashamed that I even let the devil pull me into to this but I take responsibility for it because I allowed him to pull me in.  So now I ask for your prayers to help me overcome this trial in my life so I can get back on track with God and put this mistake in the past where it belongs.  God Bless You All!!!

God is truly merciful, and he will see you through this trial my friend.

Your most important asset right now is prayer. Keep in the Word, and be vigilant; it will be very easy to "fall back" into this sin again. And you probably will, sometimes; but don't give up.
And don't just put your mistake "in the past"; put it in the hands of God, and learn from it!  
Its good to hear that you're killing sin in your heart! All us folks have to do that, with different temptations. We're not all vulnerable to the same things.

Thank you all so much for your support.  I am going to try my best to keep my focus on God and pray hard for the willpower to stand against this sin.  2nd Timothy the scriptures you posted are great especially Heb. 8:12.  And Willow your right put this in God's hands not in the past and together with God I can find the strength to crush this sin.  Thanks again and God Bless

I come to the throne of grace asking for you to break the chains of porn on this person.  Give him the strength to say no and to continue to serve you.
I gave you the honnor and glory forevery.
I ask these thing in Jesus name standing on you promises.

I heard of a men's bible study while on retreat turned up admitting many of them problems with internet porn!!

Just a few words, last night you were on my mind and in my prayers.  When I began to pray the following came to me. Visualize Jesus by your side each time you feel the need to see some porn.  You will see in his face how Jesus feels about porn.  It degrades and cause pain to all involved.
By asking him for strength each time we are tempted and then refusing to accept the temptation we gain strength.
From Gods word Mark 11:23,24
