I haven't made any recommendations for Firefox recently and thought I would mention three that I'm very impressed with. Outwit makes use of the web page you are currently on or standard search engines to find and organize what you're looking for.

I first thought these might be complicated, but I was wrong. EASY, EASY, EASY, and they all work great.

Outwit Hub - The general all purpose engine that can search for and organize just about anything. It retrieves portions to see if that might be what you're looking for. If so, just click CATCH, and the object is put in a folder of your choice.

Outwit Docs is similar to Outwit Hub, but it's specifically designed for any kind of text retrieval. You can even specify what kinds of formated text you want (i.e. PDF, DOC, Open Office, Spreadsheet, Database, and you name it. I just left all of the choices on and did my first search for "Grace Bible Study". You can help it out by using Google First, going to a page that is most likely to be what you're looking for, and turn Outwit Docs loose. It will build a list of things it found, and you can choose to CATCH or release each item. It's extremely easy to use. In fact, it's so easy that I thought I had to be missing something. I would suggest that you define a directory up front for a CATCH folder. In my case, this one is DownDOC - close to my DownLoad directory. Outwit Images is very similar to Outwit Docs, except it's for images. It also works great, and my CATCH directory is DownPIC. Give it a head start by starting a Google Image search in the Google Image Search Engine available for Firefox. You'll get hundreds or thousands of finds for something like JESUS. The CATCH and release is about the same and very easy to use.

The various uses for Outwit are almost limitless, but it's great for any kind of research or collecting. I must say that Outwit DOCS is great for Bible study and research. The same is true for Outwit IMAGES being great for Christian graphics.

Don't get scared about the 2 meg size of each Outwit Module. They are very efficient and don't use that many resources. They also don't slow Firefox down at all until you want to use Outwit. Outwit appears to use NOTHING until it's time to use it. TRY IT - I'm almost sure that you'll like it.
