Three girls were kidnapped by their father in Georgia. We prayed for them and through the awesome power of prayer, they have been found alive and physically unharmed.
The following is a quote from a local news channel in Columbia, SC:
Jan. 8, 2004 -- Authorities say three children taken by a jealous ex-husband who shot three former in-laws to death and strangled his infant daughter were found safe Thursday night. The GBI says the girls were found unharmed hours later in another northwest Georgia county.
The suspect, Jerry William Jones, reportedly shot himself after a police chase on Interstate 75 near the Tennessee line. Jones' brother-in-law said police told him Jones was in critical condition.
Jones allegedly abducted his two daughters and a former stepdaughter. A Levi's call, Georgia's equivalent of an Amber Alert, was issued. That prompted a search across the Southeast.
