A = Alpha and Almighty

Rev 1:8  I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

YEAH! - The last two were great! In fact, this is something that I like to think about often. The LIVING WATER quenches thirst forever, and HE is the beginning and the end - The ALPHA AND OMEGA!

"Baal" included several sun-gods and was associated with worshiping idols and evil. It went so far as to include a worshiper burning their children alive as a sacrifice. This is where Christians get the phrase indicating evil, "sending your children through the fire."

Judges 3:3 ESV  These are the nations: the five lords of the Philistines and all the Canaanites and the Sidonians and the Hivites who lived on Mount Lebanon, from Mount Baal-hermon as far as Lebo-hamath.
