I lost my job, a God calling profession because a fellow
worker made false accusations against me. I lost my
purpose in life in helping others.

If the accusations were false, why did you lose your purpose?

Is our purpose here defined by our job?

I lost my job at a christian book store where for me it
was spreading the word of God everyday. For me it
was not about selling or working but spending time
with customers about the word of God. Because I
was fired, there is no other bookstore that is
interested in me. I am not looking for a job just
to get a paycheck but doing the work for God
every moment in my life.

As far as no other book store wanting you-All things are possible with God...Pray and he will answer maybe there is another area or position he would like to place you into...I am sorry you lost your job ddue to a fellow employee..I don't have any advice just that you pray for Gods will to come out of this somehow...I lost my job also recently and it makes you feel very low. don't lose you purpose though..God has a plan.God Bless Sad

I lost my
purpose in life in helping others.
Henry
Henry, you can never, never lose the purpose God has made for you! Losing a job cannot rob you of your purpose in life! Jobs are so fragile, as are the "purposes" we often make for ourselves and fail at; but true "life purpose" can carry you through rough waters.

Your ultimate purpose is to give glory to God, in anything you do; the specific gifts and talents He has created you with are your personalized tools for doing that. There are so many other ways to help people and communicate with them, don't be overwhelmed because one door has been shut! There is nothing in creation that is without purpose! God made it, He has a plan in mind for it!

Please don't be discouraged, Henry. Don't give up. Find another avenue where you can be useful and helpful to others. Spend time in prayer, even if you don't know what to say. Great joy comes from giving glory to God and delighting in His word.

Praying!
