Film Sets New Christian Comedy Trendby Staff

LOS ANGELES, (christiansunite.com) -- Back in the immoral age of comics, Christian comedians seemed out of place in any other venue besides a church. In the past, most secular comedians who were also Christian preferred not to be labeled as such because clean comedy was perceived not funny and ignored by the secular entertainment industry.
Enter Ron Pearson, a Christian who is explicit about his faith yet is one of the top secular comics in the business. The award-winning Pearson has forged a career that includes scene stealing roles and guest spots on some of the biggest sitcoms on network television including The George Lopez Show, That 70's Show, The Drew Carey Show, Malcolm & Eddie, among others. He is also in high demand in television warm up comedy, late night talk shows and is a favorite at corporate and Christian events. Pearson is that rare performer who is as at home playing characters on television as he is performing comedy to a church audience and his range has garnered him a loyal fan base.
