Well I've found a new extension, that allows you to download videos. I've been using it, for the past few days, without a problem. Course you need to have a flv player to play the videos, but it is worth it. The easy way to download Web videos from hundreds of GodTube-like sites. This works also for audio and picture galleries.

Firefox Video Download helper

Free FLV player sorry I can't find a FLV player for Linux.

Dude I would have mentioned something....been using that for like a month or more now...sorta figured everyone knew about it  Wink

But yes it works great and it is not just for FLV files but WMV, AVI, or any other video file.. if they embed it in the site you can still pull it down and view later.  It is awesome...and the flv player is free on the net as well.

Brothers,

I don't know much about video or audio. All I have is some hymns and gospel music on my computer that I listen to from time to time. My system is Linux, but they play just fine. I have thought some about some sermons I've seen on various Christian sites that I would like to listen to. I have Firefox, and it plays just about everything that's set to automatically play on web sites. It has played several kinds of video. As far as I know, I have all of the plugins for Linux Firefox that can be used with Windows Firefox. I'll check and see.

Brother Bob, thanks for the information. I don't know what FLV is, but Linux does have a variety of excellent software to play movies and music. What you reminded me of right now is those sermons I've been wanting to download and listen to.

 Cheesy

I just found out what FLV stands for. YES - Linux has several good flash players, and I already have a good Firefox plugin for flash that works perfectly. I just installed this extension and plan to try those sermons I've been thinking about for awhile.
