Children and teenagers in to-days society tend to live in a home with 2 or maybe more TVs. They go to their room and watch on their TV whatever they want. It may be unsuitable viewing. Same goes with computers where they can go into I suppose almost any website they fancy. They should be watching the main TV in the living room where their parents then would have control over what they watch. Same with their computer, they need their parents checking what websites they key into. I used to be practically all familys sat around the dining table together. Now as we know this is getting so rare.

This is so true. Many homes today do not even have a dining room or a kitchen large enough to use in that manner. If families are together while they eat they are watching TV instead of having quality time together in the Lord. It is a sad situation.

Soon, unless you have cable you will not be able to watch TV.   The damily structure is not as evident and children and countless children are left to themselves to where they tell the parents what to do.  God has truly blessed those who are in children's ministries which need so much support.  Those who are christians and have children, their ministry is their children above all other ministry.

Amen MaryJane!

This is just one reason why I greatly respect Christian parents who homeschool their children. Our children belong to GOD, and GOD gave us responsibilities in the rearing of HIS Children. This responsibility should NOT be taken lightly. It's part of Christian instructions "that our joy might be more full". This is 100% Biblical, and Christians should never doubt that the Ways of GOD directly impact our joy. This obviously includes the joy in the lives of our children. This is a FACT! Our children should be raised as CHILDREN OF THE KING OF KINGS.

Love In Christ,
Tom

So true Brother and homeschooling should not be taken lightly.  Especially now.  alternative living will be taught in the schools by the ungodly.  This should not just be an eye opener, but a calling for those who have children to homeschool.  For fathers to lead family bible study and devotionals.  For Fathers and Mothers to control what their children do in the llight of God's direction which is found in the Word of God and to point their children to the Word of God that they will know wisdom.
