Amen Maryjane!
Sister, I must agree with you completely. The world is becoming more evil by the minute, and that includes this part of the world. However, this does not hint that I think Christians should give up. In fact, I believe the opposite. I firmly believe that we all have a duty for GOD until HE takes us home. Whether we win or lose our battles is not material, rather in the trying to do what's right, serving GOD, and yielding to HIS Will.
Sister, many of us will also make mistakes in who we vote for, but that doesn't relieve us of our duty to try and elect Godly representatives. We might also be fooled into voting for someone who will do great harm to the LORD'S Work, but all we can do is pray for guidance and do the best we can. If these are the end days of this Age of Grace, we should already know that things are going to get much worse - REGARDLESS of what we do or don't do. BUT, this does not relieve us of living and trying as Christians.
GOD'S WILL BE DONE!, and it will be! The times and events will unfold at GOD'S Appointed Time, and no power in the universe can slow or stop it. I believe those times are NEAR! We still put our faith and trust in GOD and live according to HIS guidance and ways. GOD will handle the rest of it.Many Christian parents are still trying to raise their children in the LORD and trying to live as a living testimony for GOD. GOD doesn't change, and I don't think that we should change. Going HOME with JESUS will end our duties in this short life, and it might be much shorter than we imagine. There isn't any Bible Prophecy left to fulfill before JESUS CHRIST can RAPTURE HIS CHURCH HOME to GLORY! The RAPTURE could be tonight, and that would be just WONDERFUL in my opinion.
In the meantime, we can all pray for strength and guidance to yield to GOD'S Will until the last moment. We should all watch and look for HIS COMING in the clouds with loving anticipation. We won't win many of our battles against evil, but JESUS CHRIST will defeat all evil at HIS SECOND COMING.
Love In Christ,
Tom
