I have two "search pages" that will appear in the browser window instead of a "page not available" thing. I hate them! They won't let me refresh the page I wanted, or use the "Back" button. I think they are called Domain Lander, and Almighty Search. They are so annoying, can I get rid of them, and how?  Cool

Oklahoma Howdy to Willowbirch,

First, what browser are you using, and under what operating system?

(i.e. Windows 98, Microsoft Explorer)

I had a search setup once that tried to take over the computer. I went to the Google Home Page and installed their search assistant. It's great, and it acts just like another browser window. It doesn't come up unless I do a search, and it is extremely fast.

It is:  http://www.google.com/

Just go to their tools page and Google should be able to install it automatically for you. It takes about one minute. You should have a question about making it the primary search engine, and you should click "Yes".

Holler if this doesn't fix the problem for you.

In Christ,
Tom
