Does anyone have DirecTV satellite? They are now airing some Songs of Praise for Christmas which features some pretty prominent acts in an effort to bring more Christian family programming to their channels (this one being channel 103 in particular). I saw it the other night and it was unbelievable. I was surprised they had chosen Amy Grant to be the hostess of the special after all she has been through both as a secular (somewhat) and a Christian artist.

I've heard from a few of my friends who have DirecTV that they have seen this program. I think it is long overdue for holiday programming to have something the family can enjoy together annually through the gift of music. We want the family to tape it for us and we may even have a fun time singing along to the Christmas carols. I am looking forward to it.

Yes I have DirectTV, and "Songs of Praise" is a wonderful addition to DirectTV.

Hello Jstinnson,

YEAH! - I have it. Thanks for telling us about it. I first thought that we didn't have that channel, but I'm listening to it now.

Love In Christ,
Tom
